+ 1 genius pianist

Hello! I'm Andie and I bring with me Natalie from the musical Next to Normal. Nat is a 17-year-old perfectionist who is a little socially awkward, very opinionated, and kinda incredibly abrasive. She has a lot of family problems and some of them may be worrisome/triggering to other people, so I'll definitely make sure to leave a warning if they do arise. Right now, she has some peace of mind and is trying to be happy for her own sake.

So, of course I throw her into a game and put her out of her element.

I could talk your ear off about this show if you'd like more background, but I posted the app in this journal if you need to read more. My plurk is impressionist so maybe we can be friends and have all the CR together!

PS. I won't be taking an official hiatus, but I'll be on vaca from July 27 - August 1. Should be able to post at night!

Whups, and I am forever late.

Hi, I'm Beth, and I play Jamie McCrimmon from Doctor Who here, who I might have already kinda sorta thrown Natalie's way because 18th century Scotsmen can be super helpful or...maybe not. But I wanted to say hello and welcome to the game too! So hello and welcome to the game. :D

Welcome! I'm Ashley. I'm incredibly slow right now and late to everything, for which I apologize in advance. Right now, I only have this lady here in game. I, admittedly, know nothing of your canon, but Natalie seems like the kind of person Helen would be drawn to. She has a pretty serious mothering streak sometimes and wants to look after everyone, which isn't something I've been able to play with a lot but does happen from time to time.

ANYWAY I will probably try and hit up your post in just a bit, but I wanted to say hi!

Helen ran a Sanctuary for misfits (creatures of myth and legend, actually) back in her own world and is kind of in the process of starting a new one up in Ruby City. She's busy making sure the building is all fixed up and clean and set up the way she wants it. So actually, I was thinking she might (since it helpfully has a ground floor and plenty of still empty space) offer to let her keep her piano there until she finds a more permanent place to stay. And if you wanted to maybe work out something from there, whether it's just bonding/friendship time or her eventually staying at the new Sanctuary when it's ready (as even Helen is still living in her apartment right now) we can definitely do that?

She's also blessed with loads of patience, especially when it comes to gaining people's trust. So I would love to play something out and see how things develop.

I'll probably add you on Plurk at some point, but I have flaky Internet tonight so it will probably be tomorrow.

I'd really like that. The Sanctuary is going to be needing residents. It would be sad if she just had a really big empty building. And honestly, I think she would fit nicely. There aren't as many creatures of myth and legend as you'd think around here. At least not that she can take in, so I imagine it will be a collection of people who maybe don't quite feel like they fit elsewhere. Or who just really need a place to stay. I'd really like to build a sort of family with it, make it actaully seem like home.

I'm really looking forward to all of this.
