Full Weather Report | Threat Report
It's been warm and dry with scattered thunder storms for the past few weeks, still with no real change in the weather. The humidity does nothing to dampen the enthusiasm of the clouds of small, biting insects that can be found in the park and.. everywhere else. Though the thunder storms have been fairly mild, they're still perhaps uncomfortably frequent for anyone who doesn't enjoy them.
City News
With the end of the wishing event, the large well abruptly disappeared from the centre of the city, replaced by the familiar ruby obelisk. Not to worry, though, it's only relocated to the edge of the woods inside the park, the writing still clear on top of the boards blocking it up. Anyone who was looking at the well at the moment it disappeared will not be able to recall seeing it move, only that it was there one moment and then gone the next, with the only evidence of something happening a faint ringing sound in the air.
It's almost August and the NPCs have been fairly quiet for a while, watching (as they are wont to do) without making any kind of appearance.
However, peculiar things are happening in the city itself. As a shadow of things to come, the city's residents might catch the brief scent of the ocean on the wind or find that certain things around the city have moved - a tree, a streetlamp - to a slightly different location. The more magical of the creatures around the city, fairies and the various nature spirits (dryads, naiads, etc) in particular, seem to be disturbed by something as of yet undetectable by the city residents but if asked, they will only be able to answer that they feel a shift in the air.

Hiroshi is offering recording services to anyone who would like to leave behind an audio momento for their friends.
The police force is rising in numbers and are currently rocking badass uniforms (Jason got the miniskirt).
The flower shop is currently temporarily closed due to technical difficulties.
There is a greenhouse project currently underway!
Current and Upcoming Events
The wishing event has drawn to a close. Anything that was gained during this time is yours to keep!
Strange things will begin to happen in the city over the course of the next two to three weeks, making it appear as if the power holding the place together is starting to subtly fracture. This is the lead-up to the re-design of the city layout and maps of both inside and outside of the city which we will be rolling out in August! We're very excited about it and hope that it will offer all of you a wider range of things to throw your characters into, as well as giving more cohesion to the game on the whole.

The test drive for August is now live!
The activity check will be going up on August 5th. If you're going to be on hiatus during this time, please note that you are not exempt unless you have been on hiatus for two weeks within the checking period! However, if unexpected circumstances mean you're worried you won't have activity, don't hesitate to get in touch with the mods.
