4. The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.

5. The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.

6. The Coffee Joint: A lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.

7. The Forest: Not a great place to be caught alone, but are you alone?

8. Wildcard: Pick anything from our list!


Scenarios

1. Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.

2. Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.

3. Bad weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?

[he can't believe what he's seeing. Someone he only knew from a distance in his childhood, and then only as a memory in the decades that followed, now stood in front of him. And in that moment, Ivo can't think about the fact that he's not where he's supposed to be, and just stares.

When he finally speaks, his voice cracks]

M-Maria? Maria Robotnik?

[hopeforhumanity]

[She turns quickly, eyes big but she calms after a moment. He looks a lot like her grandfather. Especially the mustache. She fiddles shyly with her skirt, wrings her fingers together and stares at her shoes for a moment before looking back to him.]

Yes?

[ivegotthemasterplan]

... ah-ah... well, erm...

[he struggles to find the words before clearing his throat]

I-it's me. Your cousin. Ivo...?

[hopeforhumanity]

[She just stares for a moment.]

Ivo?

[But. Her cousin is a kid. Younger than her. Not too much younger, they talk often enough but he's definitely not an adult.]

You're all grown up... [But there's a little smile.] Your mustache looks like grandfathers.

[he frowns deeply]

Yes... I get that quite a lot.

Maria... I. This may sound strange and difficult to grap, but I'm your cousin... from the future.

[It is a little difficult, actually. But with all the technology and advances already made on ARK, it isn't impossible for her to believe him.]

How'd you do that? [Because he obviously did that, right?]

I didn't... I have no idea what it is that brought us here.

We'll have to find out then. After all, something like that could be useful. Or dangerous.

[And she wouldn't want to see something like that in the wrongs hands, not realizing there likely isn't anything like that in the city.]

The train already left though, so I guess we can't check that.

[he laughs and pats her atop the head, looking rather proud]
