December Test Drive!

Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?
Have no fear, a meme for you is here.
Directions:
Locations:
1. Train Station: New arrival, or waiting to welcome people? Either way, the train comes in, but you still can't ride it out.
2. Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?
3. The Beach: You can almost forget you're trapped, in a place like this...
4. The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.
5. The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.
6. The Coffee Joint: A lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.
7. The Forest: Not a great place to be caught alone, but are you alone?
8. Wildcard: Pick anything from our list!
Scenarios
1. Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.
2. Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.
3. Bad weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?
4. Wild card: Got something better in mind? Well screw these prompts, try it out yourself!
Have fun, guys!

gil-galad | tolkien legendarium
[ He steps down from the door of the passenger car carefully, not quite sure if the platform beneath his feet is solid or not, though a couple of steps forward prove it is. Good. Solid is good. Now if he could just figure out how he managed to get from a battlefield to ... wherever this is. Gil is fairly easy to spot. Of course, he would be easy to spot in a crowded shopping mall; the elf is handsome and over seven feet tall, with long, dark hair plaited into a battle braid, wearing armor that would make a fantasy museum cry. Suffice to say, he's memorable - both in demeanor and by elven beauty standards.
By the look on his face, he has no idea where he is, and the suspicious look tossed over his shoulder to the train behind him suggests that he's never seen one of those before. Good luck to anyone attempting to explain all this to the High King of the Noldor (in exile). ]

[ hit me up with a scenario. ]

She doesn't dare hope for anyone else from Arda so when Gil-Galad steps off the train, all she can do is stare.
On a list of things she would have thought impossible, this is one of those things. Nothing is impossible here though, is it? Elrond is from year before her. And there's a dwarf in the city she doesn't recognize. Why not Gil-Galad as well.]
G-Gil Galad.

It takes but a moment to recall where he has seen her before. ]
You are Lady Galadriel's daughter, are you not? Celebrian.

[It's so strange to see him here. She knows what becomes of him, many do, and it's hard to think past that for a moment. She has to though, and she will.]
You come right from battle. Come, Elrond and I have found somewhere to stay. You can rest there and I will tell you what I can.

There are no orcs, no horns blowing in the distance with the screams of men, dwarves, and elves. The grasp upon the sword doesn't relax even when he spots an unlikely familiar face. One he had not seen since a dark day so very long ago.
He doesn't say anything until his feet are solidly upon the unmoving surface of the platform, pale blue eyes regarding the once more living High King. The thought crosses his mind that perhaps this some kind of afterlife, though that's not a thought he'll dwell on.]
My lord, you live once more.
