[January] CR/Plotting/Handwaving Meme

Time for another of these! You all know what to do by now, and we all love some good CR, don't we? You can either ask for/offer CR you'd like to play out... Or you can discuss what may or may not already have happened!

INSTRUCTIONS

♥ Post with your characters, one per comment or a catch-all. If you have any CR in particular you'd like to rally, mention it here!

♣ Go around to other characters and discuss ways your characters may have interacted in handwaved settings. This could be casual meetings at the pub, patrols they may have gone on together, hikes and explorations, or just whatever strikes your fancy!

♦ Come up with some backstory for friendships that might not have gotten played out as fully as you'd have liked. These guys are trapped on a floating island together, 24/7... You know they bump into each other! New CR is highly encouraged - you never know what might happen.

Be warned, Alastor's a retired supervillain. He has lots of experience with dramatic speeches.

Gundam is. A nerd. Idefk man he is quite good at sounding ridiculous despite not having practical evil overlord experience WHO KNOWS

I just have this mental image of them yelling at each other in the park or something while a bunch of bystanders stare like what the fuck are these losers doing

...What if Alastor tried to recruit Gundam for the theater club he's been putting together? Imagine it, getting to put on a show with other people playing along and an appreciative audience.

Oh gosh. I would need to think about that. Gundam is still... not really good with social stuff, I dunno, and a theater might involve... some form of physical contact with others. Have I mentioned he doesn't like being touched? And just... people are... muh.

With certain roles it might work and he can provide animal backup to make scenes more awesome or something but I'm otherwise unsure. D:

Oh dear, better warn Alastor about that. He's...really the touchy feely type. He makes a habit of casual physical contact.

I DON'T he has a lot of issues underneath his overlord persona, I don't even know where to begin. The touch thing will definitely come up, though. He might freak a little if Alastor does... whatever. Like the most he even goes for in canon is a handshake, which in and of itself was like pulling teeth to get to, so yeeaahhh.

Well...he'll probably get Alastor patting him on the shoulder at some point. He does that a lot. It's how he shows both approval and sympathy.

A minor freak, then. That ought to be interesting, though; his usual excuse for not touching people won't apply with an actual demon... ish. Mostly, anyway. He'll still be weird about it.

He'll be pretty understanding, at least. Probably just chalk it up to trust issues.

This is part of it, yes.

Relax Gundam, he's not going to hurt you. And even if he was, he wouldn't use tricks like that.

He will learn this eventually. Probably. That Alastor isn't human might wind up working in his favor, actually. Maybe?

He'll also probably soon start seeing evidence that Alastor is. Really kind of a good guy. As in, 'would risk himself in an instant to save the life of someone he barely knows' good.

This implies that Gundam is in any way good at detecting when people aren't approaching him with ill intentions. Gradually, though, yeah. D|

XD Well, if it helps, Alastor is incredibly easy to read? ...Even if you don't find his diary.

Gundam has accused Ibuki of plotting against him, Idk man.

In fairness, he was mostly suspicious that she was going to throw a party for him when he didn't want it. ... and he got pissed at her taking pictures of him with his bb fire lizard because it was ruining his evil image. And he's kind of an asshole sometimes.

...Okay, that seems like a reasonable thing to be suspicious of.

She tried to ambush him with a birthday party on his first day in the city, too. It's a conspiracy.
