Before I begin, I apologise for missing the last one of these and that this one is late! Work has been manic and left this mod totally wiped at the weekends :c I'm working on a better way to go about writing the SotC so that it doesn't happen again.

Coming up to the middle of February, snow is now a regular thing to wake up to. The city is regularly being coated in anything from a few inches to over a foot at one time and the more the snow falls and piles into frozen drifts the longer it takes for it to melt in the brief periods that the temperature rises above zero Celsius. While the native wildlife is still taking its time in creeping back towards the city borders, it may not be entirely unusual to see the occasional fox or young warg playing in the snow.

The rivers are still frozen, and anyone who makes it out to the lake would find that large body of water entirely frozen over as well. Great for ice skating, if you don't mind making the trip out to get there! However, the hot springs are still largely unaffected by the weather, with the steam rising from them able to be seen from the city.

City News

With the latest event that Ikaros has cast over the city, it's obvious even to those who haven't been paying attention that the general regime of the place has begun a very clear change. The seven NPCs now identified as the Virtues are the most clearly unsettled by this, but even some of the Vices, presumably created by Ikaros himself, do not seem to approve of the games the strange young boy is playing. Given the ways that it forces their hands, that's perhaps not so surprising.

Though the effects of the Despair Disease pushed many creatures away from the city they are now returning, and hunting targets are on the rise. Several wargs now may seem strangely tame when approached, though one would be foolish to assume that they won't attack simply because they're not actively attempting to do so.

Surprisingly, and maybe worryingly, one Tim Lear has been seen in the city again. Something - or someone - was restraining him from doing the kind of damage that he wrought on his last visit, or it may have been that he simply didn't want to. Tim is undoubtedly the most unstable of his kin, and his motives are fickle at the best of times. It could be that he wasn't aiming to achieve anything at all.. except for entirely unsettling one Phoenix Wright.

Since Charity was one of the winners of the first Rumour War event, the stock levels in all stores - but most notably the general store - have seen a boost. Unseasonable fruits and vegetables have made an appearance, and some people may even be able to find a few food items that they recognise from home.

Current and Upcoming Events

The next few events that come your way will be fairly low key in comparison to those that are linked in to the Rumour War. Our Valentine's event is a bit of (mostly) harmless fun, which comes hand in hand with a new location! We recommend that you take a look and ask any questions you have before it comes into play.

Down time between large events is a breather for you and for us! Feel free to continue to suggest your own player-run plots and any ideas that you'd like to see used in the game.

Miscellaneous

The Warning List for activity is now up. If you find yourself on there, don't panic! There are no penalties for reclaiming using this post.

February's test drive is also still running! There are some interesting characters up on there already, so if you're able to, please give a hand to those people who are trying to see how their character might fit into the game.
