April Test Drive

Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?
Have no fear, a meme for you is here.
Directions:
- Use an RNG to choose a location and prompt, or wait for someone else to tag.
- Post with your character with their name and canon on top!
- If you'd like, leave contact info for people to get in contact for plotting and other such shenans.
- Tag around! Make friends. Don't be afraid to chat OOC while tagging.
Locations
1.TRAIN STATION - The place where everyone gets dumped off at. Your first view of Ruby City, complete with informational posters telling you all about where you've ended up.
2. THE BEACH - Lovely year-round, though in the winter months, you're probably not likely to dip your toes in.
3. THE BLACK STALLION - A rather quaint bar. Supposedly, the burgers are great, but you don't see anyone immediately who's willing to serve you. Maybe you're meant to get it yourself.
4. THE OBELISK - The tall monolith in the center of the city marks the gathering place of many events, though right now it seems to be cold and dark.
5. THE CLOCKTOWER - Offering an impressive view of the city, several residents come here to clear their heads, if they don't mind braving the narrow staircase.
6. THE COFFEE JOINT - the front windows are warm and welcoming, and it seems there's always someone friendly enough to fix you a cup when you wander through.
7. THE CATACOMBS - Intrepid, aren't you? Those weird holes may beg exploring, but go too deep and you're going to be in a lot of trouble, considering the viciousness of the creatures held within.
8. THE CITY STREETS - All told, Ruby City is a lovely place, once you get past the fact that several of the buildings look derelict and on the verge of falling down. There's no harm in doing a little sightseeing.
9. THE PARK - You thought it'd be a lovely stroll, but the park is anything but friendly, if those approaching wolf-like creatures are any indication.
10. CHOOSE YOUR OWN - Don't like what we've come up with? Feel like picking your own place? There's a whole host of lovely locations to choose from in the City.
Scenarios
1. NEW ARRIVAL - Step off that train, walk down the street. People usually latch on to newcomers to try and help them out. Even if you look shy, the other residents probably won't be!
2. WATCH TALK - Feeling lost? Disoriented? Don't worry, everyone feels that way on their first day. Fortunately - if the signs at the station are to believed - the watch in your pocket can be used to talk to whoever else might be here.
3. BAD WEATHER - Aw, man. Whether it's snow, or rain, or just plain cold, today was definitely the wrong day to get dumped off in a City in the middle of nowhere.
4. A RUN-IN - Maybe you weren't watching. Maybe they weren't. Either way, you just bumped into someone. Perhaps apologies are in order?
5. HELP, IT HURTS - Clumsy, aren't you? Perhaps wherever the train brought you from wasn't so friendly, or you just tripped and twisted your ankle. Either way, you're in a bit of pain. Hopefully someone will notice your booboos and help patch you up.
6. HUNGRY - It isn't very obvious sometimes that restaurants are what they are, especially in a place like Ruby City. Where can a person go to get a bite to eat around here?
7. MISTAKEN IDENTITY - Hey, there's someone you know! --Or maybe not.
8. BEING FOLLOWED - Maybe you're just being paranoid, or maybe you've got a reason to be afraid. Whatever it is, it feels like there's eyes on you...
9. CURRENT EVENTS - None at the moment, but feel free to look through our event tag!
10. CHOOSE YOUR OWN - Don't like any of these ideas? Feel free to come up with your own!

[He studied the other for the moment. There was something about her, still he was not one to deny someone a request to hear about his stories.]
We were to protect the mansion from that horde of bloodsucking monsters, a swarm of vampire bastards that flooded through the streets of London.Innocent people died by the thousands as the city turned into their own personal hell. Their zepplin was shot to hell by mon cher, but still the bastards found a way through. Still though we thinned their numbers with traps and a few tricks of our own, until that dyke put us under some kind of spell making grown piss themselves with images of things that weren't even there.

Rip started to pout a little, not exactly the response one would think appropriate for hearing a story like this.
Then he got to the part about a vampire with illusion. That was definitely Zorin's work and it sounds like her fellow officer did a number on the enemy... even if one of their Zepplins suffered.]
I vouldn't say I am put off by your appearance, only... zhat I am sorry I had to miss zhe real fun vhen everything got undervay.

[Pip took another long drag from his cigarette, the wound on his side, even though it was gone it still hurt. The shrapnel might have been gone the memory was not.]
Though it turned out that I had to save her ass when that bitch got in her head. In the end though Seras returned the favor and put her when she belonged, a bloody smear along the side of the wall.
It was no place for such a sweet girl, though if it was somewhere you wished to be I doubt you are quite the sweet innocent girl she was.
no subject
Surely the Hellsing Organization would crumble with losses like that~.]
Sweet und innocent are in zhe eyes of zhe beholder. To zome, I am~. To ozhers I am a nightmare. Zough, I am sad to hear zhat Zorin died. She vas fun to serve along vith.
no subject
I see so the two of you were a pair, seems like it would have been a rather awful distraction. I suppose this place really is Hell then.
[Taking out the cigarete Pip tossed it on the ground. Great he was trapped with a freak bitch and here he only had a pistol with no shots left and little more than his good looks.]
I suppose in that case it was a shame you couldn't have been there to join her. Though I'm certain you were given the same hospitality knowing that woman who hired us.
no subject
You could say zhat~. Ve did serve in zhe same unit after all.
[Rip smirked. Imagine her luck at meeting a Hellsing soldier that wasn't some sort of monster. It looks like to day is her lucky day.]
Tch. Of course I vasn't able to join her, I had a different assignment, one more glorious zhan playing vith dolls in zome stuffy old house.
You see, I had a very lovely ship to play vith before zhe Devil destroyed it.
[And her along with it, but she fulfilled her mission and that was... what mattered. More or less, right? She still had a few mixed feelings about the entire ordeal.]
no subject
I suppose it wasn't quite what the men imagined when they heard they would be getting a pair of women together in their company. Their fantasy must have been ruined.
[Pip took a quick inventory and stock of what was around. He didn't stand a chance, so if he was going to be torn to shreds he would at least give the bitch a bit of heartburn and make her work for her meal.]
I heard, you must have been quite troublesome for that monster to be so excited to go. I do not pity you in the least, nor would I want to be the one facing that monster.
no subject
Hardly~. Especially vhen one of zhose vomen could out shoot every zingle one of them.
[She grinned. Count yourself lucky Rip wasn't out hunting when she happened upon the train station, otherwise he would have to worry about her musket instead of just her fangs. Besides, he probably tasted horrible with all that nicotine in his system.]
I vould say I vas very troublesome. It's not every day I get to shoot down planes und helicopters for target practice.
[At the mentioning of facing the devil, her grin faded into a more serious look.]
He vas zhe devil himself, but I had my duty to fulfill und I did it to zhe best of my abilities. I bet zhe Major vas so proud of my success und zhat.. is all zhat matters.
[Even if she paid with her life for that mission.... even if sh ended up suffering a fate worse than death itself. Rip had her orders.]
no subject
Well from what I saw that must not have been very difficult. They were rather poor shots, the lot of them. They hit their target more often when being blown to bits than when they shot a gun.
Well Sir Integra did say that the lot running that group wasn't the brightest. To send that many in for you to simply pluck from the sky, it was such a waste.
[So that was it was it, even the monster in front of him feared that beast. Just how terrifying must he be.]
Of course, orders from the self-important pompous mad man. To think so little of human lives, and so little of his own men, he is even more terrifying of a monster than Alucard.
no subject
Vell, in zhat ve can agree. Az much fun as shooting zhem down vas, zhey vere poor shots und should haf stopped after I took down the first three vith a single musket shot.
[Rip had every right to fear the beast that slowly and tortuously murdered her on the deck of her own ship. Zamiel was... intense. She felt him coming and his mere aura struck fear into her very core! And if he ever came into the city... Rip didn't want to think about it.
Life was good right now, he didn't need to show up and destroy it. ]
Zhe Major vas a visionary und ve vere happy to carry out his instructions like a finely tuned orchestra. To cause such destruction... to send the masses screaming in zhe streets und slaughter entire families!
Humans fight vars all zhe time, slaughtering und killing one anozher. Vat is wrong vith us vaging out own little var against London~? It can be rebuilt. But what we did to it.. vill live on.
Zhe Major vas a saint compared to that hellish beast zhat Hellsing voman kept chained to her side.
no subject
It's almost a shame I won't get to see the rest of you go up in flames, or see just how those political pigs will cover it all up. Probably claim it was some terrorist attack or something.
[At calling the major a saint Pip couldn't help but to laugh.]
A saint, I don't think any of us on either side would even know the meaning of such a word. No it was a fight between demons, devils, monsters and dogs.
no subject
Ve all did und I do not regret a zhing zhat I haf done under his command.
[She just smiled. Rip knew she was a monster deep down, The Major just gave her a little direction... of sorts. A means to a goal she would never reach.]
You are definitely right~. Vat is a saint vhen both sides use demons und monsters? I zhink ve can both agree zhat It vas.. is, a battle that no one vill forget.
no subject
[Well this certainly what he was expecting. That tattooed freak would have already tried to cut him in half by now. Guess this was planning on talking him to death.]
Those that were left alive anyways.
no subject
Zhose zhat are left alive are zhe ones zhat deserve to be. Survival of zhe fittest~. Plus vho knows, maybe ve inspired a future dictator! Vouldn't zhat be something to be proud of? I think zo.
no subject
[Doubtful for the inspiration, a psycho maybe but the details of what happened would be surpressed. Pip had seen enough of wars and conflicts to know that much.]
So just what is there to do in this hell hole?
