+1 god of the sun~

Hello once again! This is Riddle and I'm adding a brat to my roster. (I am also dropping Kikyo, but I loved all the threads I had with her. ♥ ) Anyway this god's name is Apollo (because the mortals named him that) and he likes to mess with humans every chance he gets.

If you haven't read Olimpos, I encourage you to do so (the art is gorgeous) and it has a philosophical edge to it that I enjoy.



1.) He only ever tells the truth.

2.) He can hear other people's thoughts.

Since he isn't the god of anything in RC, his words may or may not be truthful. He doesn't have the standing he did in his world to overshadow mortals, so he can't make his words factual. (If that makes sense.)

Furthermore since everyone is from different worlds, I am going to assume there is some kind of resistance or barrier to him hearing thoughts. (Mostly because I like to mess with him and this particular power really invades people's personal space.)

Does this Apollo happen to share the same habits as his mythological namesake where the whole "constant seeking of lovers" comes into play?

Not really? He definitely seems to be drawn to beauty (Artemis and Ganymede are prime examples), but I don't think it has occurred to him (yet) to enter into that realm. (In Olimpos, he seems like a young god learning about the gods and mortals as he goes.)

But there is potential there if he finds enjoyment in being close to another. (And he can be sassy/flirty just to toy with others already.)

Well, I look forward to playing with him! I've never played with Apollo before (though many moons ago Ganymede and Ritsuka had been friends in a different game)!

Apollo is so mean to Ganymede. Though they are on better terms at the end. ♥

Chibi Chibi might be interested, daughter of Selene and based off of Greek Myth that she is.

And Selene is...kind of connected to Artemis, yes?

Selene was a goddess of the moon (or later the actual MOON itself) just as her brother Helios was the god of the sun and then Artemis and Apollo sort of adapted and evolved into their powers/were twin associations. Artemis and Apollo were gods where as Helios and Selene were children of Titans and more literal representations (although Selene does end have an amorous relationship with Zeus).

So uh, short answer is yes! Yes, she is!

I thought I remembered my mythology right! :D So Apollo would recognize the name Selene as a connection to his reflectionsister.

Since he's technically her literal opposite where the moon and sun are concerned, she may naturally be drawn to him anyways.

In Olimpos, Artemis is more of his...reflection? Not even opposite.

Apollo created Artemis without realizing it because he was lonely. Hades clued him in as to her nature (that she is basically the reflection of his heart) and Apollo cried for the first time.

He won't admit to it easily - or at all - but yeah, he's in desperate need of friends.

In his universe, is there an Arachne, or does he know of Arachne?

Of course she would be. :D

And no. The only gods that Apollo knows are Zeus, Hades, Poseidon and, in a very limited fashion, Artemis. However he does know the names of the gods/goddesses humans have concocted.

well Arachne isn't a God Per say. Just a demigod/monster created by Athena out of jealous spite :p Not arachne's fault athena was a sore loser.

But yeah, Arachne hates anyone related to Athena, so she may not be to happy to see apollo, even if he looks different from what she sees

Yeah Apollo doesn't know Athena, so he'll be confused by the comparison. But I am totally up for awkward CR! :D
