November Test Drive!

Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?
Have no fear, a meme for you is here.
Directions:
- Use an RNG to choose a location and prompt, or wait for someone else to tag.
- Post with your character with their name and canon on top!
- If you'd like, leave contact info for people to get in contact for plotting and other such shenans.
- Tag around! Make friends. Don't be afraid to chat OOC while tagging.
Locations
1.TRAIN STATION - The place where everyone gets dumped off at. Your first view of Ruby City, complete with informational posters telling you all about where you've ended up.
2. THE BEACH - Lovely year-round, though in the winter months, you're probably not likely to dip your toes in.
3. THE BLACK STALLION - A rather quaint bar. Supposedly, the burgers are great, but you don't see anyone immediately who's willing to serve you. Maybe you're meant to get it yourself.
4. THE OBELISK - The tall monolith in the center of the city marks the gathering place of many events, though right now it seems to be cold and dark.
5. THE CLOCKTOWER - Offering an impressive view of the city, several residents come here to clear their heads, if they don't mind braving the narrow staircase.
6. THE COFFEE JOINT - the front windows are warm and welcoming, and it seems there's always someone friendly enough to fix you a cup when you wander through.
7. THE CATACOMBS - Intrepid, aren't you? Those weird holes may beg exploring, but go too deep and you're going to be in a lot of trouble, considering the viciousness of the creatures held within.
8. THE CITY STREETS - All told, Ruby City is a lovely place, once you get past the fact that several of the buildings look derelict and on the verge of falling down. There's no harm in doing a little sightseeing.
9. THE PARK - You thought it'd be a lovely stroll, but the park is anything but friendly, if those approaching wolf-like creatures are any indication.
10. CHOOSE YOUR OWN - Don't like what we've come up with? Feel like picking your own place? There's a whole host of lovely locations to choose from in the City.
Scenarios
1. NEW ARRIVAL - Step off that train, walk down the street. People usually latch on to newcomers to try and help them out. Even if you look shy, the other residents probably won't be!
2. WATCH TALK - Feeling lost? Disoriented? Don't worry, everyone feels that way on their first day. Fortunately - if the signs at the station are to believed - the watch in your pocket can be used to talk to whoever else might be here.
3. BAD WEATHER - Aw, man. Whether it's snow, or rain, or just plain cold, today was definitely the wrong day to get dumped off in a City in the middle of nowhere.
4. A RUN-IN - Maybe you weren't watching. Maybe they weren't. Either way, you just bumped into someone. Perhaps apologies are in order?
5. HELP, IT HURTS - Clumsy, aren't you? Perhaps wherever the train brought you from wasn't so friendly, or you just tripped and twisted your ankle. Either way, you're in a bit of pain. Hopefully someone will notice your booboos and help patch you up.
6. HUNGRY - It isn't very obvious sometimes that restaurants are what they are, especially in a place like Ruby City. Where can a person go to get a bite to eat around here?
7. MISTAKEN IDENTITY - Hey, there's someone you know! --Or maybe not.
8. BEING FOLLOWED - Maybe you're just being paranoid, or maybe you've got a reason to be afraid. Whatever it is, it feels like there's eyes on you...
9. EVENTS - Feel free to look through our event tag!
10. CHOOSE YOUR OWN - Don't like any of these ideas? Feel free to come up with your own!

[If you happen to be walking through the town square casually there is a very high chance you'll be one of the lucky many to bear witness to a young, blonde boy in clothing that looks like a page out of the 1880s being chased down by a very, very large and angry dog. If you don't recognize him then the irony of this situation is probably lost on you.
If you happen to be unfortunate you may be one of the few he shoves out of the way harshly in his desperation to lose the dog's mad eye on him. For a twelve year old he's pretty vicious about it too.]
Move!
[ b - like a drowned gutter rat ]
[Today's just not looking up for this poor kid! A sudden rainstorm catches him by surprise and before he can reach cover he's already drenched to the bone.
Still, he stubbornly stands under the awning of a closed shop with his arms tensely folded over his chest and represses his shivering as much as he can all the while glaring at anyone who even glances at him. If looks could kill, etc etc...]
a
[The dog, of course, stops in his tracks, because Doctor Doolittle here does not fuck around.]
What are you so angry about? [To the dog, not Dio. Obviously.]
no subject
Dio moves on impulse, throwing his arm back to try and dislodge Giorno's grip on him with a snarl. Who cares if he stopped the dog, no one was allowed to touch him like this.
He probably wouldn't be in this position if he didn't try to challenge the dog when it first stood its ground against him, but Dio was nothing if not stubborn and proud. In hindsight he should have checked to make sure the switch blade he usually carried was still in his pocket.]
Take your hands off me now!
no subject
Did he do something to you? [Still to the dog, yes.] Do you want me to feed him to you? You do look incredibly hungry.
[He makes a thoughtful noise, then flicks the dog on the nose.]
Go home and get some real food, capito?
[. . . and there it goes.]
no subject
If anything hearing him talk to the dumb beast like it could actually understand only irks him more. Dio digs his nails in Giorno's wrist and glares darkly at him as the dog trots off.]
I said- let me go.
no subject
[He schools his expression into neutrality again fairly quickly, but the moment was there.]
You're going to have to try a lot harder than that if you want to hurt me.
[Probably not the best thing to say to tiny Dio, but you know.]
Why should I let you go?
no subject
Dio narrows his eyes, schooling his expression into something less absolutely furious, but the fire is still there.]
It would be in your best interest to stay out of my affairs. [Big words for a kid being chased by a dog.]
no subject
What are your affairs, exactly? Since I ought to know if I'm going to stay out of them.
[Other than being chased by dogs.]
no subject
Once released Dio pulls himself out of reach. There was a strength there that didn't feel at all human. Was it witchcraft?]
That sounds more like an invitation to stick your nose in my business. I'd rather not deal with some beast-speaking mental patient any more than I must.
this is the most pretentious tag i have ever written
Enrico Pucci does. He has seen countless scenes of everyday hardships, one more boy shivering in the rain should not warrant any special feelings of pity, yet as he strolls past the boy safely under his umbrella he cannot stop himself from looking back. He can't pinpoint what calls out to him. He looks like any other hapless street urchin.... Except for that look in his eyes has a fire behind it that reminds him of someone.
Oh a whim the priest turns easily and walks directly up to Dio. He does not shy back from appraising him, from his strange clothes to searching his face of every eerily familiar characteristic. Whatever he sees, Pucci tilts his umbrella forward to bump lightly against the edge of the awning. A silent invitation for him to join and walk if he wants.]
An unfortunate day to be caught out in the rain, child.
[There's no edge of mocking in his voice. For all the world he simply appears to be a concerned man of God.]
im still furious at you
He doesn't budge an inch, eyes unwavering.]
Go back to your church and continue feeding gutter rats. My state is no business of yours.
sorry not sorry
Pucci does not move an inch in the face of such adversity. The umbrella stays in place, even as he feels the stray drop of water hit is back, and stares down. He does not smile. He is not sure what is possessing him to care just yet.]
I am not pitying you, I am merely offering a drier alternative home.
[Even if Dio was soaked he was still dressed in finery. He had no reason to assume he was homeless until such a telling and aggressive reply.]
A; BANGS POTS AND PANS LOUDLY
[This is not the reunion he expected.
If he ever saw Dio again, he expected it to be in the very shadow of death, with a sacrifice he's been told will end their fates together - at least, for a time. Jonathan Joestar expected to see Dio with a face as pale as moonlight, fangs glinting in the firelight, sinewy neck torn away from his body by desperation and force.
Jonathan Joestar did not expect a fading memory from his younger years. He's grown since then, matured from an entitled child to a man others could respect as a true gentleman. This boy has stopped time, and Jonathan snaps his head around to look twice at the scene in question. The irony present in this situation hits him like a sledgehammer, but this man plays rugby, and it takes a lot more than the body weight of a twelve year-old to shove him to the side.
This is the boy who will kill him. This is the boy who will threaten the very fate of his family someday, but this is before his life took a turn for the bizarre. He knows by now that Dio never cared for him as a friend or a brother, but the boy he's looking at is no longer a monster.
He's human again.]
D--Dio?!
[He can't explain how this feels. He can't explain how any of this feels.]
AFGHSFHSGA
The only part of this looking up was that it seemed he lost the dog in the crowds, but the small seed of relief is quickly extinguished when the literal meat wall he ran into exclaims like a shrieking banshee - and with his name of all things! At least that grabs his attention enough to turn back from where he was scanning the crowds for any sight of the beast... and he looks up.]
Excuse you? [He recognizes that face, but disbelief suspends him. He's so caught off guard by the strange sight of a man whom he is sure could be Jonathan (which is ridiculous) that his expression shows his surprise as plain as day for a few precious seconds until he falls back into annoyance. This isn't Jonathan.]
Who are you? [Dio demands. It isn't a question.]
no subject
He has to take a deep breath to keep himself from yelling at a child, even if it is Dio.]
This...is going to be rather difficult to explain, but I will try my best.
[He can't tell Dio about anything that happens in the distant future. Instead, he'll try being direct.]
We had both lost our mothers, and we were the same age.
no subject
Jonathan is an entitled, rich brat of a child his age, not a bulk of a man looking down at him with terrifying familiarity. Dio hates it, hates Jonathan even when the boy is far away from him now, and he hates this man. He isn't one to shy away from eye contact and despite sound logic and reason he recognizes something striking.
They have the same eyes. Dio tsks and steps back, fists clenched at his sides.]
Actually, I change my mind. I don't want your pitiful attempt to explain anything to me. If I wanted to be told stories to I would find a church. [He'll figure this out on his own and turns away.] Stay away from me.
no subject
This isn't any easier to accept for me!
[Think, Jonathan, think of what would either distract Dio for long enough to get the situation under control...or what would piss him off.]
Do you even know where we are? It isn't Britain any longer.
no subject
Dio turns back, eyes narrowed.]
Don't play games with me, I won't tolerate it. [Even looking at this man gets under his skin and the familiarity of that only irritates him further.] Why should I believe you?
B i can't believe this is happening
worsebetter, Dio can be greeted with the towering sight of a fancily dressed young-looking woman with a black umbrella and– what are those, sunglasses?Lisa Lisa just kind of looms over the glaring kid for a good while in silence, paying mind to how familiar his petulant gaze looks. Did he just stumble into the city? Is he alone? Because her instincts are telling her to keep her distance, but then again; he's a kid. It kind of strikes a chord. ]
Come here.
[ It's not really a sweet tone, but not a flagrant demand, either. However, hamom usually means business so her mind seems to be made up about not letting him drop dead on the street. ]
i cant believe it either
If anything the woman's strange fixation on him suddenly only makes him dig his feet in further. His stubbornness will only lead him into trouble, but he couldn't care less.
Instead of gracing her with a verbal response he just turns his head away, snubbing her with silence.]
i love you beb
She crouches down to his level, careful not to let her scarf get soaked from the rain and holds out her hand. ]
You'll get sick if you stay here.
ilu2...
It strikes a nerve when she lowers herself to his level and his eyes flash. At least she has his attention again. Who did this bimbo think she was, treating him like some lost child? Even before her appearance he was in a sour mood and this seems to curdle it more.]
I'll sooner be sick than accept the help of some street walker. [He looks away again.] Go away.
no subject
You've got quite the mouth for someone at a point of disadvantage. [ Se seems unperturbed by his arrogance, and instead removes her sunglasses to give him a proper look; her eyes reveal a certain sternness to them, but her tone is level. ] Unfortunately that's not very convincing. Little boy, I am not letting you freeze out here.
no subject
I'm far from disadvantaged. [He's been in far worse spots than this, but he has no intention of weaving some sob story for the first person to show him concern. He doesn't need it, he never has. He never will.
He twitches at the little boy and growls.] Do not call me that.
