plot post: a mafia housewarming party!

Hello, Ruby City! With completion of the house on Lot #25 happening by the end of the week, the JJBA cast (led by Giorno, who has no chill) will be throwing a party to celebrate having a stupidly big and opulent place to live. This party will be open to the whole city! Everyone is welcome - and if your character is an antisocial type but you still want them to attend, feel free to use Giorno or Reimi Sugimoto as an excuse, because they will definitely drag people bodily onto the dance floor.

The party will be going down this Sunday evening, November 22! This OOC post serves both as a general notice that this is a thing that's happening (for which there will be an open mingle log, naturally), as well as a call for help from anyone who's interested in being on Giorno's Calm-The-Fuck-Down Party Planning Committee.

Here's what we need!

▻ FOOD. Mista and Holly are already doing some cooking, but anybody who is interested in contributing should absolutely feel free to! Giorno will ICly be tracking down people to cook assorted dishes until day-of, so you are more than welcome to jump in anytime.
▻ DRINK. We don't have anybody on this yet, and having a dry housewarming party is obviously not okay, so anybody who's interested, again, feel free!
▻ MUSIC. Giorno is already talking to at least one person about this, but again, the more the merrier. The goal is to have the weirdest cultural clash of music as possible for maximum stupid dancing, so go wild.

. . . also, literally anything you want your character to contribute. My fondest wish is a ton of silly crosscanon party cr out of this, so come at me!

Reimi's pretty social and gets along with people fairly easily (unlike some people I play), so it shouldn't be too difficult to coordinate an invite if that's what you're hoping for!

OKAY SO Jonathan is going to be so excited about all of this you have no idea, especially since the finished house resembles his childhood home quite a bit and he's just touched by all of this and to be honest he thinks this is going to be a calm and civil dinner party

So I challenge all of you to prove him wrong, but also to make this 19th century gentleman go freaking wild on the dance floor.

He's also a big fan of wine, but he'll have to settle for grocery store stuff or whatever's in the pub, so his inner connoisseur will be a little displeased, but still, he's going to have a grand time.

Diarmuid keeps quite a nice selection of alcohol at the school, since he collects bottles that look interesting or are something he has never had before when he spots them in the stores. Consider your alcoholic drink needs covered!

Juuuust make sure to send Kakyoin (and anyone else who wants to join) by to puppy eyes at him until he comes out of the loft he has been hiding in since his return to the city!

Okay, meanwhile, for the sake of Actual Plotting:

Jotaro will be at the party and probably doing more holding up the walls than actual partying, but he's also pretty likely to hang out near the band and might even be convinced to play a little bit if the stars align and the opportunity arises. Particularly if it meant BEING ABLE TO PLAY DANGER ZONE ON AN ELECTRIC GUITAR AS GOD INTENDED getting to unwind a little bit around other people who like his brand of music.

Reimi, as discussed above, is available to help drag people to the party/give them an excuse to show up and I think she might (???) try to get Rohan there with her, but either way she will have her dog Arnold (who will be wearing a bowtie) and she is going to relish this opportunity to socialize and make friends and meet people and dance, dammit.

So, one giant-ass 6'5" wallflower and one small pink socialite ghost + dog, at your service.
