"You're good," she confirms, corners of her mouth lifting in a not-quite smile. She keeps her palm on his chest, counting out the familiar rhythm under her breath. Relief makes her shoulder sag, a release of tension that was nearly exhausting. One out of four ain't so bad, after all. It still hurts, but it's better than having none at all.
"Okay," she agrees, less frantic now that she's assured he won't be falling at any second. She jerks her head towards the street, gesturing for him to lead the way. "Don't leave nothin' out."
