"Your friends can work with fire?" Kojin asked with curious interest. Some mortals of Earthrealm with training could work with a particular element - though it wasn't as common. It took a lot of training and discipline. "It can be a tough element to master..." He grinned a little at the mention of singing eyebrows. "If he shows up here, I wouldn't mind seeing what he knows. He moved to another cutting board and started portioning up the meat. Cutting it up in small enough slivers that it wouldn't take long to cook.

"Hm...that sounds delicious actually." Kojin murmured at the mention of the dish she liked. "I love seafood. I see food, I eat it!" He laughed at his own joke, tossing his head back briefly. He checked the woodstove, holding out a hand and stoking the flames directly, creating more heat.

He saw that Kairi was finding some place settings and a table cloth and also noted her drenched state. "Need help drying off?"
