Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?

Locations

1.TRAIN STATION - The place where everyone gets dumped off at. Your first view of Ruby City, complete with informational posters telling you all about where you've ended up.
2. THE BEACH - Lovely year-round, though in the winter months, you're probably not likely to dip your toes in.
3. THE BLACK STALLION - A rather quaint bar. Supposedly, the burgers are great, but you don't see anyone immediately who's willing to serve you. Maybe you're meant to get it yourself.
4. THE OBELISK - The tall monolith in the center of the city marks the gathering place of many events, though right now it seems to be cold and dark.
5. THE CLOCKTOWER - Offering an impressive view of the city, several residents come here to clear their heads, if they don't mind braving the narrow staircase.
6. THE COFFEE JOINT - the front windows are warm and welcoming, and it seems there's always someone friendly enough to fix you a cup when you wander through.
7. THE CATACOMBS - Intrepid, aren't you? Those weird holes may beg exploring, but go too deep and you're going to be in a lot of trouble, considering the viciousness of the creatures held within.
8. THE CITY STREETS - All told, Ruby City is a lovely place, once you get past the fact that several of the buildings look derelict and on the verge of falling down. There's no harm in doing a little sightseeing.
9. THE PARK - You thought it'd be a lovely stroll, but the park is anything but friendly, if those approaching wolf-like creatures are any indication.
10. CHOOSE YOUR OWN - Don't like what we've come up with? Feel like picking your own place? There's a whole host of lovely locations to choose from in the City.

Scenarios

1. NEW ARRIVAL - Step off that train, walk down the street. People usually latch on to newcomers to try and help them out. Even if you look shy, the other residents probably won't be!
2. WATCH TALK - Feeling lost? Disoriented? Don't worry, everyone feels that way on their first day. Fortunately - if the signs at the station are to believed - the watch in your pocket can be used to talk to whoever else might be here.
3. BAD WEATHER - Aw, man. Whether it's snow, or rain, or just plain cold, today was definitely the wrong day to get dumped off in a City in the middle of nowhere.
4. A RUN-IN - Maybe you weren't watching. Maybe they weren't. Either way, you just bumped into someone. Perhaps apologies are in order?
5. HELP, IT HURTS - Clumsy, aren't you? Perhaps wherever the train brought you from wasn't so friendly, or you just tripped and twisted your ankle. Either way, you're in a bit of pain. Hopefully someone will notice your booboos and help patch you up.
6. HUNGRY - It isn't very obvious sometimes that restaurants are what they are, especially in a place like Ruby City. Where can a person go to get a bite to eat around here?
7. MISTAKEN IDENTITY - Hey, there's someone you know! --Or maybe not.
8. BEING FOLLOWED - Maybe you're just being paranoid, or maybe you've got a reason to be afraid. Whatever it is, it feels like there's eyes on you...
9. EVENTS - Feel free to look through our event tag!

"You already have a lot of stuff you have to do though, you sure it wouldn't be too much?"

Really Osamu would be happy just with the basics again, at least this time she had her photo album and camera, so it wasn't completely like it wouldn't have at least a few personal touches. The main thing she was worried about was the outfits that she'd have lost since she only have what she was wearing at the moment.

"True, but he might not have been the one to do it and was looking for you."

"You're my friend! Of course I'll help!" she said brightly, deciding to see if they could get the other topic dropped for now. She still wasn't sure how she wanted to handle that. It might be best to leave it for Nagihiko to take care of, after all. Over protective brothers could be so convenient.

"And I can come over and bake, so the place will always smell nice, and I can ask Arachne to make you pretty curtains, and clothing, and you can borrow some of the stuff she made for me!"

Arachne, hadn't she mentioned them before. In fact Osamu was pretty sure she had said that they made clothes for her brother too and that he had blushed and was embarrassed the entire time; which of course made Osamu chuckle a little.

"Alright, but I'm going to return the favor and help you too."

Though she wasn't really sure how since she wasn't the best at decorating and didn't know anything about what was really going on with the other's pursuit of a gym or studio.

"And I can help cook sometime so you're not always having to bake."

"Perfect! Between the two of us, maybe we can get things into shape around here! Or at least... mu brother," she said with a laugh.

"Of course not. We'll get it in shape in no time. You probably already have most of the work done."

After all it had been a long time and if it was the two of them again, Osamu was sure they had at least finished moving everything and getting all of the boxes unpacked and organized. Plus she had been having those bake sales to get other people to help. Still Osamu looked forward to getting to catch up and try those cookies again; they were certainly a lot better than anything she could cook.

"But what should we do for now? Go see if my old room is still there just in case?"

"Sure! And then if it is, we'll have a place to store stuff for the welcome back party! I was thinking we could decorate the gym, and have music, and dancing, and tea, and baked goods.... Maybe find you a cute boyfriend to help make sure you stick around this time," she said with a wink. "Or a cute girlfriend, whatever your type is. Just so long as it's not my brother. You deserve so much better, after all!"

"Don't expect too many people to show up, besides you I don't think anyone else will really be that excited. And if you're going to find a date for me you have to have one too."

No way was she going to be the only one set up, besides there weren't a whole lot of people around the city that was close to their age anyways. And there wasn't really anyone that Osamu had any attraction towards in that manner; or at least she was willing to acknowledge.

"And despite what you say, I think you're a lot closer to your brother than you admit. He's not that bad."

"Tons of people will show up! It's a celebration of your return, and it is at the gym, and there will be the smell of my baking!" she said happily. She linked her arm with Osamu's as they walked.

"And that's fine, but I should let you know my brother had a long chat with the last guy here that I liked, and he broke my heart. So I'm a bit more shy these days. But if we see someone perfect, and he might like me too.... But I'm more concerned about you."

She made a face at the comment about Nagihiko but felt that was all the response it needed.

"Why would you be worried about me and dating?"

It wasn't like Osamu had really given it much thought and she didn't ever mention it or anything; well besides asking Ritsuka about the guys that he liked. Though now she was a little curious who it was that Nagihiko had liked, but she picked up from earlier it probably wasn't something she wanted to talk about. Instead she simply followed suit with locking arms and started towards the hotel.

"Well what would the perfect person be like?"

"Because I want you to be happy, and to have someone around when I'm busy," she said simply.

She gave the question some serious thought. "For me? Older. Handsome. Polite. Loves to dance. Graceful. Understanding of the fact that my friends come first, always."

"I'm fine with being on my own. Besides now that I have my camera, I'll be able to do a lot more photography and there's plenty of other things to do."

Really she wasn't used to others worrying about her and didn't really want them to, she was happy with having a few select friends that she was close to and spoke with regularly and enjoyed having a little time to herself now and then. At the description from the other girl though Osamu grinned.

"So you like older guys. And ones that are big into performing and dancing, so like a Kabuki dancer?"

She nodded. "That would be amazing. Or even European ballroom dancing," she said, her eyes sparkling. "Any culture, really, so long as there is grace and skill."

Well it was easy to tell what Nadeshiko was passionate about, and it was a little inspiring. Though Osamu doubted there any other dancers or anything like that in the city, at least no professional ones. Still it was a little nice to see her eyes sparkle like that.

"That's just so he doesn't step on your feet while the two of you dance, you'd probably still want to make sure you could out do him."

She grinned a bit. "I was born to dance. If I find someone better, it just means I get to learn and improve." A bright smile, then a dangerous twinkle showed up in her eyes. "Then crush him when he least expects it!"

"I knew it."

Osamu laughed a little, it seemed that Nadeshiko really was competitive about things. Well at least about things that were important to her, where as Osamu was more than happy to just be left to do her own things in her own way. No need for competition.

Nadeshiko smiled, the moment broken. "Am I that easy to read?" she asked with a small giggle. It was wonderful not to have to hide how much that amused her, only the reason why.

"Only when it comes to being the best at something. Though I wonder who would win in a race, you or your brother?"

After a moment though Osamu grinned as her tail swished a little. "Actually, if he wasn't having one of those rare moments he would probably trip."

Or Nadeshiko would trip him. Either way there were just about back to the hotel and would have a chance to see if any of Osamu's stuff was still there. Though she didn't really hold out much hope given how things vanished around the city.

"I would win, of course." Who? Nadeshiko, trip someone to win a race? Goodness no. That was Temari's job. She grinned a bit at her. "But yeah, for a dancer, he could more graceful," she said with a grin. "Do you want me to come in, or wait out here?"

"Of course, you've never seen it have you, my room? If they're still there I can show you some of the pictures that I took before as well as few dresses that I found that we can try on together."

Holding the door open, Osamu wondered if the door to her room would be open since she didn't have the key or if there would still be one at the front desk.

"Besides, we'll need stuff for the party that you plan on throwing."

"Alright then!" she said, sliding through the door that her friend held open for her. "And I can help you talk to whoever needs to be spoken to to ensure they know you are back to stay!"

"Well you already know, so Ciel and Ritsuka would be the only other two that would need to know."

Once they were in Osamu went ahead and lead the way down the hall to where her room was on the first floor of the hotel. Really all the rooms were pretty much the same and this way she never had to wait on the elevator or take the stairs.

"Ritsuka actually wanted me to move in with them because he thought it wasn't safe here. Though it'd be weird to live in a place like that."

"I meant at the hotel so you could keep your room. You didn't want a house? There seem to be plenty of them around. Nagihiko and I could help you set it up!" she said happily. "Make it a space all your own."

"Oh, I'm not really sure who keeps track of the rooms. People just come and go, and there's a lot of rooms so most just pick one that they like and doesn't already have a bunch of stuff in it."

Reaching the door that had been her room, she paused for a moment thinking about a house.

"It seems like it would be a lot for just one person. It's not like the apartment I lived in with my parents was that big either, but an entire house seems like it would be a lot to care of by myself. And there would be a lot of empty rooms."

"Well, that's what friends are for. To fill the empty places in a home. Both the house and the heart," she said with a bright smile. "It's having a place to invite your friends to sleepover, and a full kitchen all your own..." She considered, then grinned. "Would you like to sleep over tonight to plan the party?"

Well there wasn't anything in the room, that much was obvious when Osamu finally opened the door and walked in. The bed was made perfectly but the albums and things she had spread out on the desk were gone.

"Sure, though I'll have to borrow something to wear. I really don't want to have to wear the same thing forever. Your brother won't have a problem with it will he?"

She didn't really have anything to lose by thinking about a house if everything was already gone.
