Might as well regret nothing. Regretting everything is a bit of a waste, since you'll end up regretting how much time you spent regretting things that didn't need regretting and then you get into an endless cycle of regretting things.
My head hurts looking at that again.
hhahaaha
i think my crisis might be worse now because what if i regret not regretting because you know, not everything goes as planned?

You're getting a bit deep on all this. 'Cause then you'll be regretting not regretting that you didn't spend time regretting all the things that weren't really worth regretting, which makes the downward spiral into the regretting cycle even worse.
[Regret-ception.]Anyway, what happens in Ruby City stays in Ruby City. Don't need to make so much of a fuss.

I think I understand theoretical quantum physics more than I understand what you just said.
...and this is true too. We don't even remember when we leave!

You're welcome.
By the way, have you actually ever watched a sunrise or sunset through a spacefarer's helmet?

No, I haven't. But I did once see a rocket launching through a helmet! I was little, and I guess I chatted up someone from NASA, who let me borrow a helmet during the launch.
[whoops]
That's pretty cool.
But I can do one better – well, if it works. We've just started, so it's not ready yet.
…
Anyway, you'll be able to see a lot more than a sunset through a spacefarer's helmet when it's done, trust me.
[He is utterly terrible at this. Julian might just go hide for a while.]
[no worries!]
Don't hold back on something better than a rocket launch!

It'll be a while. A few months, probably longer.
…
Trying to see if we can build one.
Not big, likely a two- or three-seater at most. Just enough.
…
Something more like what I'm used to seeing – SSTO multiple-reuse with top speed in the 'many km/s' range. But also very different, considering what we're working with.
Probably not with weapons, though. Definitely not a JD. Maybe a QD, if the Library has the right texts to refer to.
