DEC. TEST DRIVE

G'day, Ruby City!
Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?
Have no fear, a meme for you is here.
Directions:
- Post with your character with their name and canon on top!
- Choose a location and prompt or wait for someone else to tag.
- If you'd like, leave contact info for people to get in contact for plotting and other such shenans.
- Tag around! Make friends. Don't be afraid to chat OOC while tagging.
Locations:
- Train Station: New arrival, or waiting to welcome people? Either way, the train comes in, but you still can't ride it out.
- Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?
- The Clocktower: You can see the whole city from here!
- The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.
- The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.
- The Coffee Joint: A lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.
- Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.
Scenarios
- Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.
- Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.
- Bad weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?
- Wild card: Got something better in mind? Well screw these prompts, try it out yourself!
Have fun, guys!
Kirijo Mitsuru | Persona 3 | 5 > 2
After the betrayal by Ikutsuki-san, she found it difficult to trust anyone but her teammates. And even here, they weren't the same.
It was worse than before. At least when Nyx was closing in, she'd had a goal. Now, she was floundering in a sea of indecisions.
So, when she was troubled, she did what she did best: put her intellect to use through studying the situation. It calmed her more than just about anything else.]

Y'know, if I didn't know any better, I'd think you were back at school.
no subject
But, in the grand scheme of things, Akihiko was the same and that is what she latched onto.]
Thank you, Akihiko. I...it's an adjustment.
no subject
When was the last time you actually got out of that chair?
no subject
Not to mention this "Minako" girl. Who they supposedly spent the entire year with. Who Mitsuru let led the SEES in her stead.]
Even you and I don't remember the same things. It's more than just that it takes a while, Akihiko. There's something...wrong about this place.
I know you've felt it.
no subject
You can get through this, Mitsuru. I did, and you're a much stronger person than I am. It'll take some time, but you'll get used to how things are here.
...Also, you didn't answer my question.
no subject
But he, he watched his best friend since childhood be murdered before his eyes and he bounced back to only become stronger.]
I don't think that's true, Akihiko. But thank you.
And I haven't left it. Not since I arrived. Have you come to drag me off to eat?
no subject
At the very least, you need some exercise, come on.
[The hand on Mitsuru's shoulder moved to gently grip her arm so as to lift her from the chair.]
We're going for a walk. And I'm not taking no for an answer.
no subject
It's 2 degrees, Akihiko. It's hardly walking weather.
[But, she still stood up and put on her coat.]
Did you have a particular destination in mind?

Heey, Senpai!
[ She has to be having fun too, since she's all about the books and stuff, or so Junpei thinks. ]
Whatcha doin' here?
no subject
It figured that he would be extremely rude in a library.]
Iori, I didn't think you knew where the library is. I figured you would be out trying to find some girls to hit on.
[She stared at the books that surrounded her with a bit of a blush on her cheeks. It looked suspicious, didn't it?]
I am doing...research.
no subject
Have you been here for long?
no subject
But it was hard to think that this was and wasn't the same boy who woke her up from the life of expectancy that she'd been caught in. She'd been ready to give up her own desires for things that had been planned for her since her birth. Until Arisato Minato walked in and managed to kick over the status quo.
Not that he really remembered that. As much as it killed her to think about that.]
It depends on what time it is.
[She took out her watch, anything to keep from having to look at his face any longer, and stared at the face until the numbers made sense.]
Fourteen hours, I believe.
no subject
[It's... Not that surprising in hindsight, but still... That's some endurance right there.]
I probably should have brought you something to eat too.
no subject
This is hardly the first time.
[Although, after this long, Akihiko would have usually come and get her and remind her to eat. And now that he's mentioned something, she realized she was hungry.]
That's unnecessary, but I think I might head over to the café. I've heard they have excellent pastries and tea. Would you like to come with me?
no subject
Sure, I'll come along. You can still keep the bottle. I bought it for you, anyway.
no subject
He smelled the same as she remembered. It was like a sword to the heart.]
I'm... Excuse me.
[She pulled away as if burned, turning her face away so he couldn't see how pained she was.]
no subject
When she hadn't heard from Mitsuru that morning she figured the upperclassman was in the library, so after getting other errands done she whipped up some lunch and went to meet her.]
Hey senpai, I figured you could use some fuel.
[She sat with a smile and offered the second container of rice and veggies]

Arisato Minako. Her name was so close to that of the boy that Mitsuru herself knew that it was nearly cruel. But the similarities stopped there, in truth. This girl was charismatic, intelligent, and brave, yes, but she was more outgoing and overall personable than Minato ever came off at first.
In fact, she reminded Mitsuru strongly of Yukari. And that is the real reason that she hasn't ignored the girl entirely.]
Ah, thank you, Arisato. I...what time is it?
no subject
Late afternoon. Truthfully more like dinnertime, but I haven't eaten lunch yet either.
no subject
Well, please, sit down.
no subject
Find anything particularly interesting?
[She settles in.]
no subject
But, the similarities between Yukari and Minato are enough that she can at least begin the process.]
I don't know. Some of these books aren't in any language I've seen. But, it seems like they've been written by former residents of this city or were brought from the worlds of others.
[She points to the book she'd been reading before Minako interrupted her.]
This book is from a world very much like our own, but there have been people able to wield magic without a Persona.
no subject
Interesting. More signs that there was nothing here naturally...
[Whatever implications that has.]
Amazing! How?
no subject
He flipped through another book. Still nothing. He was growing tired of finding absolutely nothing, so he decided to take a break.
When he walked away his eyes fall on red hair. Red hair that looked kind of familiar. Could it be? He was a bit anxious to speak up, but...]
Uhm... Kirijo-san...?
