DEC. TEST DRIVE

G'day, Ruby City!
Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?
Have no fear, a meme for you is here.
Directions:
- Post with your character with their name and canon on top!
- Choose a location and prompt or wait for someone else to tag.
- If you'd like, leave contact info for people to get in contact for plotting and other such shenans.
- Tag around! Make friends. Don't be afraid to chat OOC while tagging.
Locations:
- Train Station: New arrival, or waiting to welcome people? Either way, the train comes in, but you still can't ride it out.
- Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?
- The Clocktower: You can see the whole city from here!
- The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.
- The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.
- The Coffee Joint: A lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.
- Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.
Scenarios
- Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.
- Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.
- Bad weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?
- Wild card: Got something better in mind? Well screw these prompts, try it out yourself!
Have fun, guys!

It's 2 degrees, Akihiko. It's hardly walking weather.
[But, she still stood up and put on her coat.]
Did you have a particular destination in mind?
no subject
[Of course, a "decent meal" for Aki consists of meat, meat, and more meat. Off to the Cafe!]
no subject
[What no one understood was that Akihiko was the mother hen of their relationship. He was one of the few people that literally kept her from "wasting away", as he said.]
So, tell me, where do you go for this decent meal?
no subject
[Someone had to, and Aigis wasn't keeping tabs on her here, so it fell to Aki, not that he minded.]
Don't suppose you've figured anything out about this place, have you?
no subject
I found hypotheses by residents who may or may not still be here. They all focused on the giant red pillar in the middle of the city. That and the supposed history of the city. It's mostly conjecture, sadly.

The Obelisk... I have no idea what it is, but... a couple months ago it blew up for some reason and until we pieced it back together, all Hell broke loose. I wouldn't be surprised at all if that thing turns out to be the key to all our questions.
[There's a pause. He knows Mitsuru doesn't remember the Yaso-Inaba incident with Labrys, which means she certainly wouldn't remember the reports of the kidnappings and murders tied to the Shadows in that area. That doesn't stop him from wondering though...]
...What do you think of Narukami and his friends?
no subject
Yes, I read a few entries about that, but I'd like to talk to you about that more in depth later.
[Now that she's up and moving, the fact that she's spent all day in one position over books has finally caught up to her. She's achy all over, hungry and her head hurts. She's walking a little closer to her friend than she normally would, but she's afraid of collapsing on the walk to the café.
However, his question about the group from Yaso-Inaba is confusing and takes her a minute to process.]
They seem like nice people, I suppose. Hanamura reminds me a bit of Iori, but without the tendency to fail all of his exams. As for Narumaki and Satonaka. I...I'm not sure yet.
no subject
Well, you know how to find me.
[At the talk of the Inaba gang, he just chuckles a bit.]
They're all good kids, and extremely talented ones as well. None of them remember what happened in the incident with Labrys, but Satonaka was actually talking about having me train her at one point.
[He takes a seat next to Mitsuru once he gets her to the bench and puts an arm around her shoulders. What. It's cold after all.]
I really wish you would stop pushing yourself quite so hard.
