June Test Drive~!

Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?
Have no fear, a meme for you is here.
Directions:
Locations:
1. Train Station: New arrival, or waiting to welcome people? Either way, the train comes in, but you still can't ride it out.
2. Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?
3. The Clocktower: You can see the whole city from here!
4. The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.
5. The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.
6. The Coffee Joint: A lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.
7. Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.
Scenarios
1. Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.
2. Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.
3. Bad weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?
4. Wild card: Got something better in mind? Well screw these prompts, try it out yourself!
Have fun, guys!
Finarfin | Tolkien
A most unpleasant form of transportation. At the least, however, there was little of the actual travel that Finarfin recalled. Though that in itself was a bit...disturbing, to lightly describe it. The noble elf, tall and fair, studied all he could, wary but not immediately going on the defensive.
A place he did not belong, and yet here he was. Whisked away to wherever this was. Beings he knew nothing of walked all around, chattering in languages he knew not of, yet could understand just as clearly were they speaking Quenya - he hardly dared believe his ears.
Yet - this was where he was. Now. He stepped out of the way of others, turning to keep yet more in sight to learn what he could until he could learn just how to return to his people.
4. [Open to having him get bumped into anywhere!]

"Celebrian," he murmured, just loud enough to catch her attention and not surprise her if he could avoid it.
no subject
"Grandfather." Her eyes flick back to the signs around the station, carefully making out the words on them. Ruby City. It doesn't sound like anywhere in Valinor or Middle Earth that she's ever heard of.
no subject
But she knows him, and that relief relieves him. He reached out to rest a hand lightly on her arm, guiding her away from where she'd sequestered herself. Away, towards the strangely built structures.
"You have not been harmed?" If the answer was that she had been, he would not be so peaceful about it.
no subject
"I am alright." But uncomfortable, her body language says. There's still a wariness in her eyes and she's easily guided. "What of you?"
no subject
Uncomfortable, but unharmed. "I have not been touched, aside from however we were brought here."
no subject
"I'm glad. I do not even remember anyone bringing me. I was with you and grandmother and then... I was not."
no subject
He nodded at her words. "Same as I."
no subject
"I do not see anyone else from home." Home, she says. Tirion is where she thinks of. "What will we do?"
no subject
"I have seen only yourself that I have known. Not to say there are none, they may yet arrive if they have not already." Who, though? And the faint frown would tell her he wasn't so happy that even the two of them had been taken.
"We will learn all we can of this place so that we may return home - unharmed." Because he refused to let anything more bad happen to her.
no subject
"They may." She agreed softly, glancing up to him for a moment before looking ahead. She didn't exactly want anyone else to end up here but it would be nice for them to have others with them.
"It is... very different from Tirion."
no subject
He looked back at her glance, sharing the sentiment - the worry. If it were just them, he trusted their people would be fine. But if more began to show up...he did not dare poke at that too long for it may well come to pass.
"Yes," he murmured, looking around again as he kept them walking, though now the pace was more a stroll rather than flee. "There will be adjustments to be made while we are here. But make them we shall, so that we remain in good health until we find our way home again."
no subject
"We ought find somewhere comfortable." And quiet, though she wouldn't say as much. Already she could see that he was worrying for her and she didn't want to make him worry any more.

"If you seek to bring ill to whomever brought us here, you may wish to search for a more direct manner," he mused lightly. He knew not what words the younger meant to use, nor what he actually said, but the tone said it all.
no subject
"Forgive me, my lord, but I was merely expressing my distaste in being so rudely kidnapped!"
His eyes are curious - Finarfin is familiar on some level, but he does not know why - but restless - he cannot feel nor see his twin.
no subject
"Forgiveness has already been given, for this is without doubt an unusual event."
No one enjoyed being kidnapped. Though this had to be the strangest he'd heard of...
"You are otherwise unharmed, I trust." He hoped. Even if he could only guess at how they were related, the answer mattered.
no subject
Where are you, 'Ro?
"Do you know where we are, lord?"
no subject
"Only that this city calls itself Ruby. Beyond that I know not where we are nor why."
Upfront. Though the tone was a bit...uneasy as well. His eyes also turned away to once more study their strange surroundings.
no subject
"Lord, have you seen another with a face akin to mine?"
no subject
"No, none precisely like yours."
Not that it was a bad face in the slightest, of course. It did, however, indicate this was one of a pair.
"Though I have only just arrived myself."
no subject
"Then he is not here." For surely, surely, if Elrohir was here, he would have answered him by now - they have been apart before, but not like this, not in some strange land where he does not know anyone.
no subject
"He may yet arrive. Though whether that is a good thing or not, I cannot say." For to give real assurance he'd have to know a great deal more about this place.
no subject
"But forgive me, I lack manners - father would be appalled. Elladan of Imladris, milord, at your service."
