1. Train Station: New arrival, or waiting to welcome people? Either way, the train comes in, but you still can't ride it out.

2. Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?

3. The Clocktower: You can see the whole city from here!

4. The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.

5. The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.

6. The Coffee Joint: A lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.

7. Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.


Scenarios

1. Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.

2. Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.

3. Bad weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?

4. Wild card: Got something better in mind? Well screw these prompts, try it out yourself!

Here's another stumbling off the train with a Khuzdul curse (well, he thinks it's a curse - and there are no dwarves around to tell him if it isn't). He's obviously Noldo, or at least, partially so - dark haired and grey eyed, but if Finarfin is paying attention there is something of Elwing in the eyes, and something of Earendil in the face, but mostly he will remind Finarfin of Celebrian.

The young one was enough Noldo to catch Finarfin's attention and curiosity, even more so when he picked out just who the other reminded him of. Certainly more than as strictly necessary to have him approach.

"If you seek to bring ill to whomever brought us here, you may wish to search for a more direct manner," he mused lightly. He knew not what words the younger meant to use, nor what he actually said, but the tone said it all.

There is no recognition beyond a surface one - Elladan, after all, has never met his great-grandfather, nor does he know what he looks like - but Elladan straightens with a cheery grin and bows.

"Forgive me, my lord, but I was merely expressing my distaste in being so rudely kidnapped!"

His eyes are curious - Finarfin is familiar on some level, but he does not know why - but restless - he cannot feel nor see his twin.

No, not until this moment, though neither quite know it. Yet. The cheerful grin earned a smile of his own as he nodded to the bow.

"Forgiveness has already been given, for this is without doubt an unusual event."

No one enjoyed being kidnapped. Though this had to be the strangest he'd heard of...

"You are otherwise unharmed, I trust." He hoped. Even if he could only guess at how they were related, the answer mattered.

"Well, I certainly seem to be." Now assured that he has caused no great offence to the familiar-unfamiliar elf-lord before him Elladan shrugs and shifts restlessly, eyes scanning his surroundings.

Where are you, 'Ro?

"Do you know where we are, lord?"

That was one less thing to worry about. For whatever reason, they'd been left unharmed, if confused and no less whisked away.

"Only that this city calls itself Ruby. Beyond that I know not where we are nor why."

Upfront. Though the tone was a bit...uneasy as well. His eyes also turned away to once more study their strange surroundings.

A frown. "The name is unfamiliar to me, as well." He shifts again, worried, for the bond with his brother that has always been there gapes suspiciously empty and silent.

"Lord, have you seen another with a face akin to mine?"

The question drew his attention back to him, an apology clear even as he shook his head a little.

"No, none precisely like yours."

Not that it was a bad face in the slightest, of course. It did, however, indicate this was one of a pair.

"Though I have only just arrived myself."

[huntingorcs]

The frown turns more worried, eyes turning to search the platform in vain.

"Then he is not here." For surely, surely, if Elrohir was here, he would have answered him by now - they have been apart before, but not like this, not in some strange land where he does not know anyone.

Worry that he understood far too well. There was little he could do, however.

"He may yet arrive. Though whether that is a good thing or not, I cannot say." For to give real assurance he'd have to know a great deal more about this place.

[huntingorcs]

"Ah... I suppose that is true." Elladan is torn - on the one hand, Elrohir, on the other strange place. Mastering himself he manages a smile and a slight bow.

"But forgive me, I lack manners - father would be appalled. Elladan of Imladris, milord, at your service."
