That's right! A test drive meme! This meme serves several purpsoes!

- Test drive a new muse! -- If you are considering apping a new character to Ruby City, you can comment with them here to try their voice out. Others (currently played characters and other potential characters) can respond. The same deal as usual. Post ICly. Your character can be newly arrived, or you can treat the thread as though they've been in the city for a long while. It's up to you!

[Shao coughed hard, trying to get the taste out of her mouth before turning towards the man. His voice was... a little familiar but she couldn't quite place it. He was so young and she was sure she hadn't met him before.]

I believe I will be, I apologize that you had to see that.

[There was a ~~little~~ smirk that traced his lips, which had a scar on the right side. A recent looking scar it seemed at that.] Do not worry. I have seen worse.

[Much worse. He thought of how he had done his first assassination a couple of weeks ago. Alberti had deserved it though, and so did many others that Ezio had been learning about since the wrongful deaths of his father and brothers. Only for a moment did Ezio look troubled, but he made sure to keep the subject off of that.]

....Do you know where we are? Or what that is? [The Assassin pointed to the train behind them.]

I wish that I did, but this place and that thing are both foreign to me.

[That scar is very defining, and it draws a confused look from Shao Jun as she looks over what she can see of his face. Master Ezio has a scar like that but this man is far to young. At least his clothes were easily identifiable. At least to her.]

Your robes. They are of the assassins.

[Ezio agreed with a nod and looked again at the ruined architecture of what he didn't know he'd be calling home soon. Maybe he could use the thing that brought him here to get back to Florence. He needed to speak with Leonardo again and he didn't have time to be...well, stuck here. Wherever here was.

What she said had him almost stiffen, but he looked at her, a hardening gaze on his face. Was she a Templar? She didn't look like one, but looks could be deceiving...] What do you know of the Assassins?

[Before going on, she plucked the pendant from around her neck and held it for him to see. The symbol of the assassins was clearly emblazoned on it, and she kept it in view only long enough for him to get a clear view of it before tucking it safely away.]

They rescued me, three years ago.

[For a moment, he's considering the chances of her being a Templar, one that had followed him on this contraption and was going to make use of this abandoned city. However that thought came to a stop as she held out the pendant...a pendant that had the same marking as his own belt. His father's belt.]

You are an assassina?

[Alright, color Ezio surprised. She was kind of cute and a killer.

I am but I am still learning. I still have much to learn.

[She kept her hood up while talking with him. Out in the open like this, it would be dangerous to do otherwise. Looking around, there seemed to be several empty buildings close by.]

Shall we find somewhere more private?

[He nods in agreement.] We are always still learning. I have only started as an assassin recently myself.

[Ezio pulls his hood up, shifting a glance here and there. Still getting used to it, really, and it must've fallen when he bounded off of the train.]
