Test Drive Meme!
That's right! A test drive meme! This meme serves several purpsoes!
- Test drive a new muse! -- If you are considering apping a new character to Ruby City, you can comment with them here to try their voice out. Others (currently played characters and other potential characters) can respond. The same deal as usual. Post ICly. Your character can be newly arrived, or you can treat the thread as though they've been in the city for a long while. It's up to you!
- Test drive DreamWidth! -- We realize DreamWidth is new, so feel free to jump in, even with your current RC characters to start a thread and get accustomed to how DreamWidth feels to RP on. But please remember, any interaction from this meme will not count towards in-game CR. What happens in memes stays in memes.
- Stop the withdrawal! -- We anticipate that the move will slow down posting between our announcement of moving and the opening of the DreamWidth communities. So if you need your fix of your RC characters, toss 'em here for fun and games.

Huh..? Kaname?
[Yuki looks around the train station, confused. Especially when she picks up the watch and looks between it and a small case she found laying with it.]
Blood tablets?
Sorry, changing accounts hadn't worked
[There is a cheerful young man in a winter coat, smiling, looking quite eager to help.]
It's okay~
Where ever here is.

After a moment and a few cautious steps, he finally decided to call out, voice heavy with the Italian accent.] Hello? Is there anyone there?
no subject
And today was one of those days when he just so happened to come across someone new.] Yeah.
[It was a rather short answer in reply to the question, but it would do as he made his way toward the man, stopping a few feet away, tilting his head though his expression was nearly void of emotion as he observed him, and waited to see what else he would say- He'd rather let him come with a barrage of questions now rather than trying and failing to explain should he just go off without taking another's feelings on the situation into account.]

Where is this place? Are you the one who has brought me here? [Though he was in a completely different place than where he had been in Firenze didn't mean he had to sound unsure of himself.]

Late, but how could I have reisted a new arrival from the homeland? XD
Imagine his surprise when he didn't find abandoned and that voice... Feliciano tilted his head to the side, curious and becoming ever curioser as he took note of the man's clothing. Old clothing. Very, very old.]
Hello. I'm here! [He replied in Italian, trying to test his suspicion. His heart skipped in excitement. Another Italian, that would be wonderful!]
Whoo-hoo!

If I do anything with him, I might have to play him as further through the game.

...And that icon because the "choose random icon" button had a certain liking for it. It went back to it at least five out of seven times. Shiiiiny pretty "choose random icon" button! :3

Cesare Borgia/Borgia
He had obviously been kidnapped, he surmised as he wandered around the train station, cardinal's robes flapping around him. He was trying to make sense of the odd place and discern its function, yet he was no closer to an answer as he had been the moment he finally escaped the metal contraption. This was the strangest kidnapping he had ever heard of, a pointless tomfoolery of the likes he would have normally only thought Juan capable of.]
Let's try this xD
He didn't remember a lot, though and he was quite sure he must have blacked out on his journey, but never would he have thought that he would end up in such a strange place in such a strange object.
It didn't take him long to see someone wearing a cardinal's rob. Did somebody of Cesare's enemies follow him? It might be safer not to appear as Michelotto in that case.]
Excuse me, do you know where this is?

Shao Jun | Assassin's Creed Embers
If I never have to ride that thing again, it will be too soon.
With how Embers played out, this should be interesting.
Perdonatemi, but are you alright?
Oh yes, definitely

Laboriously the man straightens, rubbing a stubbly jaw and grumbling softly. His eyes rake the area around him as his eyebrows draw together in consternation. Where--is this...?] What now, [he sighs, more statement than question. As though that little 'seer' kid before with his ridiculous statements wasn't bad enough, here he winds up kidnapped.
Well, he wouldn't call this kidnapped. No kidnappers are in sight. But nevertheless. Caleb regards the station severely and wishes at once for a glass of scotch.]
I apologize in advance for this. |D;;
Che! Watch where you're going, damnit! [Lovino happens to hate scotch, but he does have a nice bottle of wine on him. Good luck convincing him to share, though.]

Test Drive - The Great Warrior Calgara
[There is a sudden shattering of glass; the watch swings violently as the windows of the train are completely broken by the individual holding the device. Shards of glass scatter everywhere, but there is little other sound save for the soft fall of bare feet on the pavement and labored, incredibly furious breathing. A man swings into view, his tattooed face framed in masses of untamed crimson hair, and his dark eyes are wild with rage and confusion. He appears to be crouching, uncaring to the minor wounds in his skin from where the glass had bitten]
This is not my island... [His voice is barely a snarl as he looks around, wariness in every movement, but he moves with a surprising grace, aware of each movement of his body] I swear to my ancestors that who is responsible for my capture will not make it out of here alive!
no subject
Taking a few more steps toward him, slow and hesitant so that he won't appear threatening, he stops at a reasonable distance.]
I don't think they're so easily found. [He'd heard of one of them, but that was about it... Nothing about their captors going out of their way to interact in person with people though...]

I love this so much. I just. I had to.
Lovino takes a few steps back, shivering as he watches the wild man tearing around. Does he even dare to snark at him? Nope, he's scared to even run away. That... thing... cannot possibly be human, and at that size, he stands no chance. Oh god.]
Ch-chigigigigigigigi...
<3! You know who he is??
Yessssss~ I just got past that part before I lost the ability to watch anime |D;;
OMG YES. You can judge my characterization, please! This is totally Austria-mun, btw.
And you can judge mine too, I haven't played out scared!Lovi in ages. x3
Oh I think it's great. Scared Lovino cracks me up.
Cook popcorn. Prepare video camera. Time to intimidate Italians. :3
Bring the booze. It'll be a party!
It will be glorious. |D
Most definitely!
Actually, they throw toilets out the window on New Year's, so maybe they're braver than we thought..
...Italians are soo strange and yet awesome. That's right out of Boondock Saints. XD
Italy is a place of very special snowflakes. XD

Testing... CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow. Have a suitably derpy icon.
[...eventually]
[There's quite a lot of undignified key-smashing while your Captain gets a hang of the communicator and precisely how it works. Occasionally, he yelps as bits of static and sound come out of it; or squeaks something about possession and hurls is across the room when video feeds come up. Eventually, though, he figures it out, sucks in a deep breath, and roars into the communicator]
WHERE, PRECISELY, DOES ONE FIND THE RUM IN THIS GODFORSAKEN HELL-HOLE?
((This is Kaoru-mun, by the way. Point of interest, Kaoru has a similarly derpy icon... one of my favourites))

I think there's a bar near the station.
Experience tells me these two should get along great. XD
Shit, man, that's like... totally how I'm like when I'm really smashed! [She's drunk enough as is, that it took her a few false starts to get the audio. Now she'll switch to video, so have a giggly 15-year-old wielding a vodka martini and holding the watch pretty haphazardly.] I dun' have rum, but there's some classy fuckin' vodka over here, Mr. Wart-ever. Wh.... pft! Whatever, Mr. Whatever!
Sophie Newman | "The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel" series
[There's a girl. In the station. That's not so strange, Ruby City gets plenty of those but the strange thing is the smell of vanilla ice cream wafting through it only moments after she arrives and the silver armor that formed over her body.]
Josh, this isn't funny! Mom, dad-
[She cuts herself off. Can she really call those people mom and dad after they'd been lied to their whole lives? Aunt Agnes wasn't really Aunt Agnes, she was Tsagaglalal. And they were Isis and Osiris. They had been on Danu Talis... How cool was that though?? She'd been on Danu Talis! The lost city of Atlantis!
Aaand, then the reality of it hits her. There were ley gates nearby, where was she?!]
Anne Boleyn | The Tudors
[She had expected to wake in her room in the Tower, on the last morning of her life. Instead, she wakes in a strange little room that seems to be moving. There's a window, and yes, she's moving. It's like a carriage, except... She can't explain it.]
This is some kind of dream, or delusion. Something to help me cope with what is about to happen to me. It cannot be real.
[So she treats it as a dream, leaving the strange conveyance and finding herself in what she knows is a city, but not like any real one she knows. But it's not real.]
Is this your last revenge on me, Henry? For not giving you the son we both longed for, for not being that little blonde wench you adore? You will drive me mad as well as have me executed, as well as bastardize our daughter?
[She laughs, a wild, broken sound, and falls to her knees. Dream or delusion, it does not ease her pain on this day. For it will fade, and she will still have to face the scaffold.]
I hope you don't mind a familiar face~
...Excuse me, Miss, but may I assist you in any way? [He attempts his best English, though he can't be for certain if she even speaks any language that he knows]
