I'm thinking of starting a delivery service.

Most cities have delivery services, where I'm from.

Most modern cities tend to be bigger.

Guess so. Don't have a lot of big cities where I'm from. But even small towns have someone to deliver the mail.

And that's why I asked first.

Maybe. [Cloud shrugs again.] Lots of monsters where I'm from.

Sounds exciting.

Can be too exciting.

[Especially the times when everything seems to go wrong and some lunatic tries to destroy the world. Twice--no, three times, depending on if you count that one time... He's gonna say three. It was close enough.]

Sometimes I could do without it.

Prefer a more peaceful life then?

[Again, Lancer can understand the sentiment.]

Just don't get bored with the delivery job.

Right. I could use a break.

[After everything.]

I won't. Not back home. It keeps me going places. I run deliveries all over.

What was the farthest you had to go to make one then?

[He asks due to idle curiosity.]

Across the continent. Took a while. The roads aren't so good these days. Usually I stick to the towns closer to Edge or stay within the city.

I try not to be away from home too long. [This is a recent effort, but he's making it.]
