Don't need to. The city restocks this place. Besides, there's nobody hiring and no money anywhere, so we might as well as just take what we need.

[Okay he really was hungry so he'd worry about that later. Right now, food. And the apple tasted really good.]

None that's actually worth anything. If anything, we just barter for stuff.

[Well that certainly simplified things. He wouldn't go hungry while he was here.]

I guess that makes things easier?

Yeah, much simpler. Guess starving people don't constitute "entertainment."

Yeah. So what does? I mean, what do you do all day?

[puppy_lancer]

Me? I just...wander around, greet some people, fight some monsters. That sort of stuff.

M-Monsters? [Oh no. Not here too!]

They usually don't come into town. And if they do, there's guys like me.

Good. [He nibbled the core of his apple at a loss for what else to say. He certainly didn't want to have to go into why he had a fear of zombies.]

[Wait until the canon updates and Lancer will have a healthy dislike of zombies himself.]

[For the moment, Lancer just watches this kid eat.]

[Kerry nibbles until there is nothing left then look up at Lancer.]

Shall we continue? [Even with the large coat, he was chilly and wanted to get inside.]

Sure. I'll show you to the Church. You can probably stay there for a little.

Good. [All the panic was slowly getting to him and he stifled a yawn.]

You're tired too?

[He bends down so he's eye-level with the boy.]

Of course not. Just bored waiting for you to show me around. [Tsun...]

How about we make it faster then?

[He reaches over to scoop the child into a two-armed carry.]

Hey! [He struggled intitally when picked up but quickly settled down. He hadn't realised how tired he really was and also snuggled into Lancer's chest.] Yeah...faster...thanks

[With that, Lancer moves toward the church just quickly enough to match a human's running speed.]

[Kerry nodded, and smiled as Lancer whisked them away. This was much better. But since they'd stopped being used, his legs were starting to ache a little. He was definitely tired but he kept himself awake. At least until they got to their destination.]

[puppy_lancer]

[As soon as they get to the church, Lancer kicks open the door. Coming from him, this does't look so much like a violent action than it does a natural a natural way of opening door with his hands occupied.]

Yo, Kirei, you around?

[cappingjustice]

[Kerry looks around for anyone but sees no one.] Maybe he's out? [Collecting kids at the train station.] Should we wait for him?

[puppy_lancer]

Don't see why we can't.

[At least there's pews to sit in.]

[Kerry releases himself from Lancer's grip and moves to sit down at the nearest pew. He's most likely going to fall asleep before Kirei gets there but he's stubborn and will try and stay awake as long as he can.]

Maybe he's left for the day. [Another stifled yawn? Nope.]

Well...I guess I could take you to his actual house.

[Long as Claudia and Caren didn't take him going over there in the wrong way.]
