[How could he not instantly recognize (what's technically) his own face? It's a little spooky, but he thinks it's pretty cool too, and it's not like he's a stranger to weirdness.]

[He gives a replying flippant salute, clips the watch shut, shoves it into his pocket and heads out. It barely takes thirty seconds to get to the station from across the city, and he sets his foot down on the platform fresh out of a flashstep, thumbs hooked through his belt loops.

Dirk stops a couple of metres away from Bro, tilting his chin up slightly.]

[A little hat-tip and half grin to greet his young alternate.]

[He makes a small gesture between the two of them.]
