Lorelei • Original Character

[ She misses a step, nearly tumbles her way onto to the platform but is still quick to regain her balance and poise. The contraption that brought her here is strange not at all like anything she has ever seen but then again, neither is this new location.

It takes several moments, first for her to step around in a sort of daze until she finally stops and deciphers the meaning of the posters. It takes another moment to figure out that the pocket watch is in fact a communicator and even then, Lorelei only manages to make it work with hesitation.

There is her voice, and there is her face - big eyes stare into the watch with befuddlement. Could it be that anyone will really see her? ]

I'm lost.

[ Stating the obvious, yes, but she isn't one for too many words. ]

[Hello. Have a pale blonde teenage girl with a whole lot of black lipstick.]

From what I've heard, 'taken' is more likely.

[ There's a sight you don't see often.
She blinks once, twice, purses her lips in deep thought and it takes her about a whole minute and a half to say something. ]

Taken by whom?

I'm not entirely sure, though 'unseen entities who seem to control this place' goes without saying. I'm fairly new here as well and not in the best position to be answering questions, so perhaps it was ill-advised for me to mention it at all.

Hello Lorelei

[piranhabites]

[ If she's to look behind her, she'll see a young woman stepping out of another carriage. She looks around, quickly catching sight of Lorelei. It takes her a few seconds of pondering silence before she finally steps towards the other woman.]

...where is this? [Blunt and to the point, there's not much else to say right this moment.]

[ She turns, looks up at the other woman with all the presence of someone who is evidently intimidated by a stranger.

She doesn't get to meet strangers very often, you see. Allow her a moment to compose herself. ]

The sign reads Ruby City.

Because I can

[Strangely enough, not a look she's not used to.
She looks over to the posters.]

Do you live here?

[ She shakes her head, shuffles a little before turning to one of the posters again.

She seems to give up observing it after a while. ]

I only just got here.

[piranhabites]

[ She takes a look around, at the station, at the train...she even walks to the edge and tries to take a look at the direction of the tracks, stretching into the horizon.]

...hm.

[She takes another look around the station. No controllers, no guards, no travelers besides the two of them.]

Are you travelling alone?

Haha...guess we both are.

[He rubs at the back of his head, smilling awkwardly at his own watch.]
