Let's be fair here, you haven't told me who you are either. [Smirk.] As for where you are, this is Ruby City, and you're just as stuck as the rest of us, so simmer the fuck down.

[Then his expression shifts slightly, almost imperceptibly, and he rubs his face with one hand.]

Oh, great, now we're netting the X-men. [It was only a matter of time. Real superhero melting pot up in here. He mutters that, then looks up again.] I'm not calling you a demon, genius.

I'm not part of the X-Men, I'm just a student at the fucking school. I'm not wearing one of those uniforms.

[He's dressed casually - sneakers, jeans, t-shirt and a jacket. No uniform here.]

Where the hell is Ruby City? No place around Salem as far as I fucking know. You sure you're not just pulling my damn leg? You sound like one of the shitty upper classmen who think they own the goddamn place. And my name's Freyr. Now who the hell are you?

[Even the X-men don't wear their uniforms all the time HE'S SEEN THE MOVIES. Even the shitty ones.]

You look around, tell me where you think you are, then tell me if I'm pullin' your leg. [A shrug.] I wouldn't pull a blind man's leg. All kinds of unclassy, yo.

[He clears his throat.] I'm Dirk, and no, this place isn't around Salem. It isn't around anywhere.

Did you really fucking just tell me to look around. Seriously dude? It might be my hearing, because I think you said your name as Dick? Sounds pretty fitting.

[Thinned lips, he's not impressed.] Well I can't fucking be here, I need to get back to the school. Where the hell did that train go? I can't even tell if it's late night or day light out here!

You know, if I had a dollar for every time someone's tried that pitiful excuse for a joke. [The most deadpan of deadpan tones. He knows damn well that you heard what his name is.]

It's evenin', and I'm so close to decidin' you ain't worth my time that I can taste it.

People probably use that joke because it fits you! [Yeah, he heard what the name was, but he's coping damn it. He's been dumped out of his bed into a place that apparently doesn't exist on Earth with some guy named Dic-- Dirk.

Hearing that it's evening is settling though and he pulls the visor back off. This time his eyes are open, but no visible pupils in a sea of glowing luminescent green of his eyes.]

Now where the hell did the train go so I can get back to the school?!

[Dirk folds his arms loosely, and if he's at all surprised by the look of the other boy's eyes (he is, but spending a year around alternative-universe-duplicates, glowing orange sprite-boys and petulant Norse gods does wonders for raising a guy's tolerance to the unexpected), he doesn't show it.]

It doesn't let people on, only off. If you're going back to school, it's not going to be because you want to.

The fucking hell kind of place is this? Or better yet, what the hell kind of shitty-ass train can you get off of but not get the hell back on?!

[He turns to see that the train is gone - probably took advantage of him being distracted by Dirk to get the hell away.]

I want to go the fuck home!

Well, y'know what..?

[He rubs the pad of his thumb along his jaw, slanting his gaze away.]

So do most of the rest of us. This is a prison. More or less free range, but a prison.

[His own jaw has some gravel and blood on it, forgotten from the 'talk' with Dirk here.]

Prison? PRISON? What the hell kind of prison is this in America? I didn't even fucking do anything, I'm just some guy that goes to a fucking school like everyone else!

[Despite his rather vulgar mouth and violent temper, Freyr's good at staying out of trouble with the law.]

We're not in America. Have you actually been listening to a single fuckin' thing I've said? Shit, it's like talkin' to a wall.

[His hand moves through his hair, pushing it off his forehead, though it quickly settles back into that impossible-looking style.]

What this is, is an isolated bubble in space-time, with one way in and no exit, and I can't put it into simpler words than that.

Yeah, I was fucking listening, but I thought you were pulling my goddamn leg or something. Some shitty prank.

[He tucks his visor into his pocket carefully one with one hand while the other holds onto his cane tightly.]

Why the fuck was I brought here? I'm not exactly Prime-A mutant material or anything.

[Another huff.]

[A shrug.]

I've no fuckin' idea what kind of random number generator they're usin' to decide who gets pulled in from when and where. Are you one of those people who wakes up in the morning wondering just what the fuck makes you special? Well, maybe you shouldn't have.

[He hooks his thumbs through his belt loops.]

If you ain't that kind of person, then bad luck I guess.

I'm one of those people that wakes up wishing they weren't special. [There's a slump to him, like a sort of defeat, but he furrows his brow and frowns.]

Where the fuck am I supposed to stay then? Or do I get more fucking bad luck and have to stay on the street?
