[Normally this is where he would say something along the lines of 'I love strong women', but...well, looking so much like Mordred, and a knight at that, maybe it can't be a coincidence.]

[Noting his expression, Arturia steps forward and gives a small bow.]

I should introduce myself. I am the king known in legend as King Arthur, Arturia Pendragon.

[He stares for a moment before bursting out into laughter.]

Well, my liege, then it's no wonder you look so much alike - you reminded me of your own daughter.

Is there more than one? I refer to Mordred, of course.

Yes, as a Saber. We were summoned, among others, to work as a group. I'm the Servant Caster, by name William Shakespeare, gent., etc.

As... a group... [Then, it is likely that what Waver explained to her is either not a part of Shakespeare's war, or not at the same time...

Rather than puzzle over it, she simply holds it in her mind that Mordred is summoned.]

...But as... a Saber. Not Berserker, or any other class?

It's strange, isn't it? Perhaps Berserker was summoned before, leaving Mordred no other option?

...It is of little consequence. I had simply jumped to conclusions.

[But at the comment of 'renowned king', a conflict of emotions arises, and she swallows the thought of what Waver told her before.]

She's rowdy but, if it's of any consolation, certainly not in the state of a Berserker class.

[IT'S COOL he's not technically a 'sir' it's true but he's not gonna complain.]

[The look on her face isn't fond, per se, but it is... relieved, at least. There were things she wished to remedy and simply could not, and it was no fault of Mordred the crimes Morgan la Fey had committed.]

You... are the second servant I have met here. Tell me, was a Lancer summoned amongst your company?

Indeed, one of each class is with us, as well as against us. Our Lancer is Karna, of Indian myth.

That Lancer is not the one present here.

Yes, the one opposed to us is a group of defectees or some such, while our group was dispatched by the Mage's Association.

...What-- if I may ask, what is the purpose of such a manoeuvre?

The opposing group - the Black Faction - stole the Grail, so, the Association is looking to retrieve it, essentially.

Is that--

[Saber hushes herself quickly. Waver had mentioned the condition of the grail, but had also mentioned that neither time nor space flowed in the same way; it may very well be reality, but it may not be her reality, and Saber isn't willing to let herself fall into any false hopes.

She'll simply have to wait and question Waver about it. She composes herself quickly.]

I see. Then being brought here must have occurred at a very inconvenient time. Have you arrived only recently?

I have, just today, in fact. But, it's of no consequence to me, I'm not suited to battle, you see.

No, the stage is more suited to an artist, is it not?

Exactly. If I am to fight, I would much prefer a fencing match in sport. Even that can be done on the stage, so, there's really no need to venture off it.

I cannot say I've had a chance to fence, good sir. But if it wouldn't trouble you to tell me, I've not had the chance to know much of the theatre, either. You mentioned before-- a thrust?

Ah, yes, a thrust stage, that is! It juts out into the audience, giving way to far more possibilities and increasing the effectiveness of staging! The illusion is far greater when the audience is around the stage, not only directly in front of it.

I see-- but would that not be a more difficult scene to prepare? [Not that she's questioning his judgement.]
