rubycitymodsAfter some consideration we have decided to put forward a change to the hiatus guidelines.
From the completion of February's activity check (Saturday, March 9), the rules on hiatus will be changed to reflect the following:
1. You will need to be on hiatus for two weeks in the checking period (6th of the previous month to the 5th of the present month) to be made exempt from the activity check. It is important that you post your hiatus in the hiatus post so that the mod team can keep track of this, as posts in the OOC community can be overlooked!
2. Being on hiatus over the activity check will not make you exempt except in extenuating circumstances, but in the event that you don't have internet access over the check-in and reclaim period (5th - 13th), you will be allowed to arrange to have someone post in your stead.
3. Hiatus will be allowed for a maximum of two months. If you have reason to need longer than this, please contact the mods beforehand so we can review your case.
