Hi look I have impulses and my impulses led me to apping this guy. His name is Ryou, but he mostly introduces himself by his last name, Bakura! He's a nice enough guy from the rather outdated first generation of Yu-Gi-Oh!

He is totes not canon-updated to the end of the first gen Yu-Gi-Oh manga, and therefore becomes possessed at times by his darker half. Posts from Ryou will originate from softspokenlandlord while his alter-ego and spirit of the Millennium Ring, Yami Bakura will be played from thiefofdarkness.

I'm bringing in Dug, from the Pixar movie Up! I'm sure some of you at least know him, but basically he's a golden retriever who can talk. There's really not much more to it than that.

He's gonna be running around talking to everyone, doing doggy things, probably sniffing the werewolves really excitedly and. Yeah, you get the drift. I apologize in advance, even as dogs go he isn't that bright lmao.

HE WILL LOVE YOU IF YOU MEET HIM. Seriously, he loves almost everyone. Slobbery kisses all around.

Heya Ruby City

this is Artemis bringing in my fourth pup (yes, I'm addicted) and it's a cub this time.

This is Leah, a wolf shape-shifter from That Canon With Sparkly Vampires. Leah doesn't sparkle, but she has a sparkly personality... if grumpiness equals sparkles. She's tough, she's badass and she has a sharp tongue to match her teeth. She's also been pretty much shattered by the supernatural crashing into her life and leaving behind nothing but ruins. Leah has recently lost her father to the shock of her phasing (by her logic, she killed him), her boyfriend to wolfy mind whammy mojo and the sanctity of her own mind to being telepathically connected to a pack she is in a state of cold semi-hot war with. So yeah, expect her to be a little ray of furry sunshine.

Speaking of fur, if you anger her she might fursplode into a giant wolf. She'll do her best to avoid this since for one, it might get people killed, for another, her wolfiness is a secret.

For those who know her canon, Leah's from the end of New Moon, thus she isn'tquite as jaded yet as when Bella meets her as a pack member in Eclipse. We'll get there in due time.

May I introduce you all to Lamont Toucey, from the webcomic Hanna is Not a Boy's Name. Despite his shady appearance, he's a very pleasant fellow with a charming smile and all the diplomacy in the world. Of course, all those things are quite necessary when you're a deliveryman whose clients are all supernatural beings that could rip you to shreds if you piss them off. But that doesn't mean he refuses his fellow mortals the same kindnesses! In fact, he's ready and willing to do anyone a favor -- for a price.

He isn't nearly as sinister as I'm making him sound, I promise.

Also he's a huge flirt, so ladies, beware.

Personally, I'm really looking forward to experiencing the city from a new perspective, since Lamont is such a departure from Ib. Feel free to add me on Plurk if you haven't already, ohniohn. I'm always up for plotting, chatting, or whatever! :D

Hey Ruby City, I hope you're all doing well.

As of this weekend, I have stepped down from the mod team in Ruby City. I'm also dropping one of my characters; Aradia Megido.

Aradia was my first character in this game and so far she's been a lot of fun to play here. Unfortunately, I think it's time to let her go. Starting Sunday, August 4th, she'll disappear from the city. Considering this falls shortly before the event, I've discussed with some of her close CR that it's not hard to assume she's just off exploring, since she tends to get excited about this sort of thing anyway.

I'm sorry to the people I had intended to plot things with for the event, but there's a lot going on away from the Internet that I need to focus on. I'll keep my other characters around, so if you want to plot things, feel free to ping me over PM or aim.

 Hey guys! TC here and with a bit of bad news.

 

I've been considering this for a while now and time has come to bite the bullet. Nepeta, Signless/Kankri and Milah are going home for good. They had a fantastic run and I've enjoyed playing them (specially Nepeta! My first muse in a role-play game and she stayed for over a year), but inspiration has been dying for a while, so off they go.

Characters are safe to assume that these guys are off doing their usual thing, and some of their closest relations are welcome to keep some mementos. (You can message me on plurk if you want to discuss it first.)

 

Since they're my whole list of muses, that means I'll be leaving the game--but only temporarily! I'll be apping a new character soon, and I'll see you all then.
