Candlelight Vigil

A crowd has gathered this night in Ruby City. Young and old, new and longstanding, hero and villain. They all stand side by side in remembrance of a fallen member of the city.

A shine has been erected around the ashes of what used to be a tree, so profanely visited upon by the briefest resident the city has borne witness to.

God speed young tree. Your sacrifice shall not be forgotten. We shall all stand tall and remember you in the days to come.

For now, we must put this behind us and get back to the tasks and labors that we have neglected this day. We wish you all well, wherever the road ahead may take you.

Boo, time to be a bore and announce yet another slowatus. Exam weeks are approaching and there's no escape, so my activity is bound to be a wibbly wobbly timey wimey thing till mid-February.

Not calling a hiatus, not yet at least, just a heads-up so no one thinks I'm ignoring their thread in particular!
