Hey everyone, so. I've got to say, there are a number of reasons I'm going to make this tough decision, but first and foremost since I've barely wet my toes here with Aquila it won't be so hard-- I'm gonna be dropping him from Ruby City and applying again as Morgan from Fire Emblem: Awakening. I just feel like Aquila in my mind was always meant for a situation that actively carried him along through the events in his life, forcing him to make tough choices and act with discretion, but on his own he suffers from a lack of particular motivation when he's removed from the context of a pressing and stressful environment, and thus becomes...not really that fun to roleplay?
That's why I figure Morgan would be better in this case, having a clear and definitive goal; that is, to find her father and/or emulate his greatness, at least at first, and with a better way to start off, much like the canon of Awakening, waking up lost and alone and amnesiac in the middle of a field with only the memories of her father and the skills offered her by her mother.
So...this isn't goodbye, but Aquila wasn't going to work super well here, so I made an editor's choice, if you will. :^)
