It's time for a message from your moderators.

As you may have noticed, things around here are on-track for bigger and better things. Of course, life outside the internet does not always provide smooth sailing, and we appreciate your patience as we continue to grow.

With April fast approaching, we would like to remind you that to provide you with more Story Events, we'd love to have you suggest what kind of stories you'd like to see! Feel free to suggest your own canons or stories you'd like. The genres of our events will generally determine the mood of the entire game, so if you'd like to see more horror, suggest more horror! And if you'd like to see more comedy, suggest comedy.

Our event mod would like to apologise for being unable to provide a specific feedback post for the first Story Event, which was promised. In light of this, we would like to remind you that feedback for events and everything else is always welcome on our suggestions page, and it may be used in lieu of specific feedback posts in the future as well.

Secondly, the mod team is looking for more stagehands. We would like responsible, committed individuals to help with small tasks such as list management, NPC piloting, and event planning/management. Therefore, we will be opening up applications for these positions:

NPC: Callie Kensington / Greed

NPC: Lexington LeBeau / Lust

NPC: Gluttony

NPC: Dil Blackwood / Diligence

NPC: Gene Jecklin / Kindness

For NPC positions, we are looking for people who can adapt to already-developed characters and expand upon them. However, Gluttony is still in the design stages and the person picked to play them will be allowed to develop that character.

Curator Hands (2)

Curator mods will perform a specific set of tasks and check-ups two days out of the week each and report to Fiona after finishing. They will manage lists such as the taken list, contact list, and other lists, and will add/remove new and expired reservations. Because there will be a total of three-four people working on these tasks, constant attention may not be necessary, and you may often only have to check on these lists. We just want to make sure things run smoothly while still giving everyone time for life trouble.

Event Hands (2-3)

Event hands will do things like handle the RNG and Event-specific NPCs for events. With 2-3 extra people at the helm, hopefully everyone will be able to get their RNG prizes and event tools on time. You may have noticed we have had trouble keeping up with RNG mechanics in the past, which is why we are hoping to add more people to the team.

We will be SCREENING RESPONSES to this post and using the relevant post below, you can apply. We have a bit of a rolling deadline for now, but hope to see applications within the next two weeks.

Once again, thank you for your continued participation and your patience as we make changes to the game. You have all been helpful, supportive, and make he Ruby City community a great one to be a part of.
