Hey brand new player here! My name is Beanie and I'm bring in another troll to add to the city's collection, Signless! He is an old geezer, preachy and has a positive outlook on almost everything. He's from before his death, so he's especially kind in this situation!

At times he will type in text and it will be in this color. If any body has a problem with this, please let me know!

Possible Plot Idea and new character!

Hello, Ally here bringing in her fourth character Maleficent from the live action film. I also play Haldir, Inspector Javert, and Admiral James Norrington.

I'll be taking her from the point when she tried to revoke the curse and failed to do so. She is quite anxious to get back home and is also furious for being brought here. With that being said I have a possible idea to present to Ruby City.


I'm not sure when this will be ran, but I want to get your thoughts on this. I've never done anything like this before. I have no clue what I'm doing.

Maleficent will be confused and angry with her arrival to the city and with out the Aurora she knows or Diaval around to help, she would take her anger out on the city. This would also be a test to see what her hosts were actually like since she would be skeptical as well to what she is being told by the people here.

The thorns would be coming from the ground and just run through out the city and the outskirts of it, but not cover the whole island. Nor will it hurt the train. This would make it hard for people outside of the city to get in and those in the city unable to get out. In the process, the thorns would be ripping up the pavement and tearing through possible buildings. They will stop at a certain height, which would be towering over most buildings, but not the clock tower.

I wanted to leave the players a chance to try and talk her down before the hosts have to step in and deal with her.

With that being said a note on FourthWalling:

I am okay with Once Upon a Time Cast, Disney characters, and Kingdom Heart already knowing about Maleficent. Granted she would be confused, but I can handle that. Outside of these series I would like you to approach me before hand and ask. I'm usually okay with this to a degree, but it all depends on how it's done. That's what I want to check with. Please, DO NOT tell her she's a fairytale character.

Full Weather Report | Threat Report

Though the weather is settled at a mostly steady temperature that has left the winter behind, the snow has given way to rain and cool weather at night is leaving some treacherously icy patches on the roads and footways of the city. There's movement beneath the surface of the frozen river as the ice covering it begins to thaw and once more allows the visibility of fish and plant life, though it will still be some time before the laughter of the native naiads might be heard.

Threat levels are at a consistent mid-to-high, with the current patrol levels doing little to deter the small packs of feral creatures stalking the edges of the city. Their attentions increase noticeably in the late evening and during the night, and they're not shy about making attempts to test the bravery of any patrolling groups and individuals. For those with more patience (or tolerance) of such creatures, there has also been a lift in wildlife numbers, offering a better population for hunting. It isn't quite enough yet, but things are returning to normal.

The fog has dissipated again, for now, though it might still be found in small patches outside of the city in the early mornings. It appears, if observed, to gravitate towards caves and places where one might hide. Perhaps there's something to be found there.

City News

Over the course of the week's event, the snowmen have continued to appear, dotted about the city. However, their theme moved from mainly sinister to mostly cute as the week progressed and they will continue to come complete with small offerings of gifts until such time as the snow melts. Surely no one would want to leave any of those little boxes alone and unwanted? It would make a certain little girl very sad, indeed. The snowmen, as cute as they now (mostly) are, still have the same strange and disturbing habit of moving when no one is watching them, so if you pass by one of the offerings don't be surprised to find it waiting on your doorstep for you the next time you step out of the house.

The general store is still well stocked, with the fresh fruits and vegetables going through their usual seasonal turns. At the moment, butternut squash and kale appear to be popular options, as well as dates, grapefruit, oranges sprouts and sweet potatoes. Meat is often lacking thanks to limited means to keep it cool, but it can be easily supplemented by those residents who wish to hunt for it. There is some on offer, unnamed but resembling beef in appearance and texture.. but most people might prefer to simply leave that alone.

Wendigo numbers continue to be a problem around the borders of the city, particularly in the park area. Something about Phantomhive Manor seems to be keeping them from approaching too close to the city, but it's also making them very irritated as they pace the open grounds of the park between the woods and the city. The few dryads who remained awake through the winter to watch over their kin can occasionally be seen taking pot-shots at them when they get too close.

Chassie Barrows, so often a stranger to the city at large, has been making herself known as the one behind the unfortunate loss of language comprehension (and also the builder of the strange snowmen). Not many are left who remember the true extent of this little girl's powers, but she once turned the entire city into a fairytale land for her own amusement. The strange aura about her is one of a kind of innocence that those without goodness in their hearts would find uncomfortable to remain close to. Extended contact with it can cause strange effects.. but you probably have nothing to worry about.
