no, your eyes do not deceive you. it is not a jojo, but instead yona from yona of the dawn! for those who are not familiar with her, yona is a 16 year old princess who ends up on the run. she cuts her hair, learns archery, and collects a harem of stupid boys who are actually dragon warriors with supernatural abilities like a gigantic yaoi hand and her personal bodyguard. (and no, that's not just perspective for the hand.) the only boy who is not stupid is neither of these things, which is how you know he's the smart, sensible mom friend. anyway, yona's not interested in taking the throne back just yet, and wants to clean up the kingdom because her dad was a great guy buuuuut his rule for the rest of the kingdom could be described as "eeeeeehhh... /waggles hand in the air" so injustices really grind yona's gears and it's about the only time she won't be all that friendly.

i'll be introing her at a better hour when more people are awake, but until then you can catch me on my plurk (maledictions) or hmu with a pm to plot!

Future TOTAL Hiatus!

Hey guys!

Once more, I am going to be going overseas with my absolute most best friend and sister in the whole wide world! It will be Ireland and Scotland again, but will be different areas than 2014. Some of these areas will be really remote and as I will be leaving my laptop at home and have never been extremely skilled with tagging via a mobile device, I will be off the grid! Due to various reasons, I will also be hesitant to use my phone at all, save for an alarm clock.

However, this won’t be until one month from now, September 15-30.

Can you tell I am itching to go already?

Anyways, I just wanted to give you guys a heads up, get my ducks in a row, and get plotting under way so when I do go on hiatus (September 10-30), there won’t be too many loose threads, plots left undone, details forgotten, etc. That would bum me out of I left someone hanging.

So, let me know if you want to do any plots from now until September 10!

The Strangers disappear as suddenly as their arrival began. The cause of their departure is unclear; they never achieved the nothing they so desperately desired, so why leave so much something lying around so messily? Some residents say they were congregating in the city center when they abruptly vanished, others say they were heading towards one of the apartment buildings. The only thing that's clear is that no two accounts are the same.

Those they leave behind begin an immediate — if gradual — recovery, though the peculiar grey marks left on their skin will linger. The memory of the Strangers' sudden, inexplicable aggression lingers, too, and unease may be bolstered by some eyewitness accounts of a beagle (adorable!) standing on its hind legs, front paws folded over its chest (less adorable). When the Strangers vanish, though, the beagle appears to as well.

Perhaps now is a good time for the citizens of Ruby City to consider the impossibility of personal autonomy in a terrifying multiverse. Or perhaps it's a better time for a citywide nap. Regardless: somewhere in the library, tucked away neatly in the reference section, is a thin book, more like a pamphlet, that simply reads nothing, line after line, page after page, cover to cover.
