RC Test Drive!

I don't really have a fitting picture for this.
G'day, Ruby City! It's time for a meme for both testdrivers and denizens.
Been itching to test out some CR but haven't had the posts to do it? Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?
Have no fear, a meme for you is here.
Directions:
- Post with your character with their name and canon on top!
- Choose a location and prompt or wait for someone else to tag.
- If you'd like, leave contact info for people to get in contact for plotting and other such shenans.
- Tag around! Make friends. Don't be afraid to chat OOC while tagging.
Locations:
- Train Station: New arrival, or waiting to welcome people? Either way, the train comes in, but you still can't ride it out.
- Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?
- The Clocktower: You can see the whole city from here!
- The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.
- The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.
- The Coffee Joint: Run by Lukas, a lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.
- Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.
Scenarios
- Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.
- Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.
- Inclement weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?
- Wild card: Got something better in mind? Well screw these prompts, try it out yourself!
Have fun, guys!
Irene -> Original character
character info: here
a. been here all day
[ It isn't in Irene's nature to panic and, looking back, she's somewhat embarrassed by her own frightened demeanour hours earlier - but it can't be helped. The large metal structure (a "train", is it?), the idea of being trapped somewhere with no way to return to the safety of her home, all of that took a good while to process.
Even now, hours later, she still isn't thoroughly convinced about this whole situation. But that's understandable. Surely it must be a dream, she has told herself time and again, unable however to ignore the fact that it's far too linear and she's sure a dream shouldn't last this long.
You may find her wandering about, debating whether or not to visit the cathedral. A little peace might help make sense of things.
That or actually asking around. ]
b. the park
[ Irene has been in the city for only a few days but she has made a point of getting to know her surroundings until she can finally leave. Today you may find her at the very edge of the park, collecting flowers. She's not yet aware of the creatures that roam the mostly uninhabited area, so she doesn't seem particularly worried.
She's not adverse to company, so you are more than welcome to join her. ]

AaaaaaaaauuuuuuuGH!!
I swear to... [ mumble mumble ] ...when I get my hands on those... [ grumble grumble. He's about to yell out a second time and praise the heavens above for an answer when something that didn't quite fit with the scenario catches his eye. It didn't take him long to realize it was a person, but upon further inspection, it appeared to a (rather lovely) looking young woman who was picking flowers. Figuring it'd be a better shot at some information than shouting at the sky, he slowly approached her, calling out when he was about five meters away. ]
Oh, uh, hello there!
oh hello there ouo
Hello. [ Though her voice isn't particularly loud, there's a decided kind of certainty to it. ] Do you live in this city?
no subject
You look lost. Can I help you?
[He's smirking ever so slightly, but hey, this is him trying to be helpful. Being a model citizen. Feel free to marvel.]
no subject
When she looks at him she appears to be calm; neutral, simply put. The initial panic has long since died down and now she must seek some answers. It seems that the cathedral might have to wait. ]
Yes, please. I would like to find my way home as soon as possible. [ She's very straight to the point, at least. ]
no subject
Sorry, doll, that isn't about to happen. I've been told that isn't how this game is played. [He jerks his head, pointing at the cathedral's entrance.] Prayers might be your best bet if that's what you are hoping for.
[Oh, he knows he's being an ass and there's a tiny little part of him that is sorry but god damn it, being a model citizen is tiresome.]
no subject
I don't pray. [ Again, straight to the point. She glances at the structure, either way; the architecture fascinates her. After all, Irene is mostly used to seeing small homes, nothing quite like this. ] Does this mean I should adjust then? Is that what you've done?
no subject
You know what children do with captured butterflies, don't you?
no subject
She takes her time with her answers - it's not that she doesn't understand or anything, but she likes to give her words a good thought; after all, the wrong words could grant some Very Bad Results. Even so, it's noteworthy that she doesn't look scared by his words. Not to say she doesn't feel that way, deep down, but that's another story. ]
You would rather be on display? [ She hums. ] I'd prefer to find a way out. Every cage has one.
no subject
[He turns away from her slightly to properly size up the cathedral, but from the corner of his eyes Trent keeps watching Irene. You don't turn your back on a stranger, they might turn out hungry. Or merely bored.]
Everything comes at a price. I'm not certain if I'd want to trade with those who are more powerful than beings who can snatch me from one world and transport me to another.
no subject
She's torn, you see, between the conversation and her train of thought. But the cathedral, she figures it'll be here tomorrow; this person might not, so she turns back to him. ]
Then what do you intend to do?
no subject
What an unpleasant question to ask.]
To be perfectly frank with you? I don't know. [He pulls his hands out of the pockets of his pants and throws them into the air, a gesture meant to convey exasperation as much as nonchalance.] I have no plan, no set future, not even allies or enemies.
[Another grimace.] I reckon you could call it refreshing if you enjoy senseless optimism.
no subject
She hums softly, pushing a few strands of hair behind her ear. ]
I propose we find a way out.
no subject
I hate to break it to, you, doll, but we seem to be stuck. Might as well enjoy the free food and housing. [Yeah. Not. He grimaces.]
