RC Test Drive!

I don't really have a fitting picture for this.
G'day, Ruby City! It's time for a meme for both testdrivers and denizens.
Been itching to test out some CR but haven't had the posts to do it? Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?
Have no fear, a meme for you is here.
Directions:
- Post with your character with their name and canon on top!
- Choose a location and prompt or wait for someone else to tag.
- If you'd like, leave contact info for people to get in contact for plotting and other such shenans.
- Tag around! Make friends. Don't be afraid to chat OOC while tagging.
Locations:
- Train Station: New arrival, or waiting to welcome people? Either way, the train comes in, but you still can't ride it out.
- Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?
- The Clocktower: You can see the whole city from here!
- The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.
- The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.
- The Coffee Joint: Run by Lukas, a lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.
- Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.
Scenarios
- Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.
- Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.
- Inclement weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?
- Wild card: Got something better in mind? Well screw these prompts, try it out yourself!
Have fun, guys!
Pearl Fey | Ace Attorney
[ the training clothes worn by the tiny girl standing on the platform might be familiar to anyone who knows Maya Fey; a short kimono, a light jacket, a magatama pendant surrounded by beads marking the progress of her training. Pearl worries her bottom lip with her teeth, her thumb reflexively going to her mouth in a nervous gesture. she isn't scared, not yet, but she is uneasy; she doesn't recognise this place, and at this point she's barely even familiar with trains. ]
Where am I...? This doesn't look like the Los Angeles tray-in station...
[ she mutters the words to herself, hovering nervously. maybe she rode one stop too far? ]
2. the cathedral
[ Pearl's been here for a little while now, but she's still getting used to the sheer size of the city, the way the buildings are all tall and made out of stone. up until a little before she ended up in Ruby City, she'd never even left her tiny mountain village, and she hasn't been able to explore much of L.A. since she met Mr. Nick. so the size of everything, the European-style architecture, is enough to dazzle her; to her, it's almost like living in a city right out of a fairy tale.
the cathedral especially still seems like a castle to her; today, she can be found standing outside of the colossal structure, looking up at the carvings around the windows and the colours of the stained glass with her mouth hanging open in pure, honest awe. ]
2 because it's really cute
Leaning right over, hands still behind her back, Maya takes the moment to surprise Pearl.]
Cool, isn't it, Pearly? Do you know what that building is?
yes good
Oh, Mystic Maya, it's you! Yes, it's the most amazing building I've ever seen in my life! [ she cranes her neck to try and get a good look at the tallest spire. ] But umm... I don't really know what it is. [ she says so bashfully. ] Isn't it some sort of really fantastic castle?

so bitter you lose your tongue.]Nick said it's called a Cathedral, so I think it's a kind of shrine. Not like any of ours.

[She's going to have to ask someone who knows these things.] They even let you go inside. There are chairs and everything, and rooms, and a biiig altar.
Or at least, it looked like an altar last time I saw it.
no subject
Have you really been inside, Mystic Maya? What does everyone do in there?
[ in her head, she's imagining some kind of huge channelling lesson, or maybe even a public channelling or some kind. ]
no subject
[She puts her hands on her hips, feigning offence.]
But... it was because I guess... I got a little hurt, and there was someone there who helped me. I've never been in there when there were more people in it.
[...She doesn't seem too fond of the memory, but quickly brightens up. She really has no clue-- she'd mentioned it looked like a stage to Nick, but he quickly shot that one down.] Let's go inside and find out!

Little one. [She called out, casting off a blank expression.]
no subject
A-are you talking to me, Miss?
no subject
You appear to be lost.
[Well, Integra knew the girl was lost, but-- details. She figured it would be best to not frighten her with specifics for now.]
no subject
It's embarrassing to say so, but yes, I am. I've never seen this station before. Um... could you tell me if you've seen a man with spiky hair like a hedgehog and a blue suit, or a girl a few years older than me with clothes like mine?

rather unfortunatehousemates. She nods again, chuckling slightly at her rather, colourful descriptions.]
As it so happens, I am acquainted with with the gentlemen, and his assistant. Shall I take you to them?
no subject
[ oh, what luck! Pearl guesses, in her innocent child's mind, that this lady must be a prosecutor of some kind - she dresses like Ms. von Karma, after all, and she knows that Mystic Maya is Mr. Nick's assistant, so it's the only real conclusion to draw, right? ]
Oh, I'm so relieved...! If you could take me to where they are, I'd be ever so grateful to you.
no subject
I would be happy to. [She thinks.] Would you like to speak with her as we walk?
[She asks Pearl, as she pulls the communicator from her pocket.]

Wh-who's there?!
[ she tries to make it sound demanding, but she can't quite keep the stutter out of her small voice. ]
no subject
S-sorry about that... didn't mean to freak you out.
no subject
Um, it's okay. Who are you...?
no subject
I've met a person with the same clothes as you before. She was really nice. What was her name...Mayflower? Marigold? Something with an M.
[At least he didn't have a name to forget. That was the only upside to it all.]
no subject
[ she doesn't miss that he didn't give his name, but... if he knows Mystic Maya, maybe he's not such a bad person? she'll have to ask Mystic Maya later. and in the meantime, if this man turns out to be trouble, she'll just kick him really hard in the shin and run all the way home. ]

omg wow, this is like Christmas
[Miles was walking Pess at the moment and they were headed round the cathedral when the girl was spotted and Pess immediately wanted to approach her. Can he sniff her, please Master? Please oh please? She looks like she gives nice belly scratches!
Miles could be heard before he approaches her.]
Pess. Pess, easy. Slow down she's but a child.
[And a familiar one at that...]
*lawyer* Christmas 8D
Oh, what a cute doggy! [ and after the delight, the surprise as she spots Edgeworth, hand flying to her mouth. ]
Oh! It's you, Mr. Edgeworth...!
Of course. Are you still considering this muse? I know I am late...
[Pess does as he's told and sits back at Miles' side. The prosecutor approaches Pearl, examining her closely.]
Thank you, his name is Pess. He's kind, he won't hurt you... wait.
I know you... You're that little girl from that frozen mountain. When Maya was... when that trial occurred.
man i live for backtags, it's all cool! and yes, i reserved her this morning actually :3
[ there's puzzlement on her face now; she can't remember a trial involving a frozen mountain. in fact, she's never really spoken to Mr. Edgeworth before now; she only recognises him by sight thanks to seeing him in court and at the police precinct during the case with Mr. Engarde, when Mystic Maya was...
... either way, it's clear even to her that something doesn't add up here. in the meantime, she falls back on politeness, chewing her bottom lip slightly in confusion. ]
Um... I'm very sorry, but I don't know what you mean. You must know Mystic Maya because she works with Mr. Nick, right? I'm her cousin, Pearl.
