RC Test Drive!



I don't really have a fitting picture for this.

G'day, Ruby City! It's time for a meme for both testdrivers and denizens.

Been itching to test out some CR but haven't had the posts to do it? Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?

Have no fear, a meme for you is here.


Directions:

  • Post with your character with their name and canon on top!

  • Choose a location and prompt or wait for someone else to tag.

  • If you'd like, leave contact info for people to get in contact for plotting and other such shenans.

  • Tag around! Make friends. Don't be afraid to chat OOC while tagging.



Locations:

  1. Train Station: New arrival, or waiting to welcome people? Either way, the train comes in, but you still can't ride it out.

  2. Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?

  3. The Clocktower: You can see the whole city from here!

  4. The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.

  5. The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.

  6. The Coffee Joint: Run by Lukas, a lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.

  7. Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.


Scenarios

  1. Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.

  2. Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.

  3. Inclement weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?

  4. Wild card: Got something better in mind? Well screw these prompts, try it out yourself!

[Though Integra had her suspicions as to whom the child belonged (given the likeness of her clothes), she did not want to assume. In general, she had found children to be a challenge. She hardly interacted with other children growing up, which had bled into her life as an adult. Walking over to the girl slowly, she'd attempt not to scare the poor thing.]

Little one. [She called out, casting off a blank expression.]

[ Pearl turns quickly when she hears the call, already apprehensive; when she looks up (and up, and up) at Integra, she immediately feels intimidated. This lady was so tall and imposing that it was difficult not to feel a little scared, especially when it had been so drilled into her by her mother to run away from any suspicious-looking strangers. But she was lost, so maybe she could ask where she was, or if the lady had seen anybody like Mr. Nick or Mystic Maya around, and then run away straight afterwards? ]

[Who else? Giving Pearl a curt nod, she crouched down, putting herself at a closer eye level with the girl.]

You appear to be lost.

[Well, Integra knew the girl was lost, but-- details. She figured it would be best to not frighten her with specifics for now.]

It's embarrassing to say so, but yes, I am. I've never seen this station before. Um... could you tell me if you've seen a man with spiky hair like a hedgehog and a blue suit, or a girl a few years older than me with clothes like mine?

[As it happens, her suspicions were correct-- and they happened to be her rather unfortunate housemates.

She nods again, chuckling slightly at her rather, colourful descriptions.]

As it so happens, I am acquainted with with the gentlemen, and his assistant. Shall I take you to them?

Really? You really know Mr. Nick and Mystic Maya?

[ oh, what luck! Pearl guesses, in her innocent child's mind, that this lady must be a prosecutor of some kind - she dresses like Ms. von Karma, after all, and she knows that Mystic Maya is Mr. Nick's assistant, so it's the only real conclusion to draw, right? ]

Oh, I'm so relieved...! If you could take me to where they are, I'd be ever so grateful to you.

[She certainly was... polite. Hard to believe considering she's Maya's-- sister? Integra isn't quite sure on her relationship with the girl, yet, though she's bound to find out eventually.]

I would be happy to. [She thinks.] Would you like to speak with her as we walk?

[She asks Pearl, as she pulls the communicator from her pocket.]
