G'day, Ruby City! It's time for a meme for both testdrivers and denizens.

Been itching to test out some CR but haven't had the posts to do it? Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?

[well that's alright. Hiroshi is free to run wherever he wants to go.

however the minute he stops, he'll hear a slightly distorted voice in his ear.]

Where are you going...?

[and Smile is standing right behind him. hi....]

*He pauses to catch his breath, and freezes the moment he hears the voice. His mouth moves, as if trying to figure out what to say, but his voice isn't quite catching up. He looks over his shoulder, shivering.*

I...I had somewhere I forgot I had to be, I...

[Smile laughs. it's not neccarly a nice one but he doesn't sound agressive at any rate.]

Not going to hurt you. Just want to know something.

[see? not everything is a homicidal blue monster thing. just...really really creepy looking. ~~and actually is homicidal but that's beside the point.~~]

*He swallows, still clearly intimidated. He tries to rally his brain together a bit.*

W...what do you want to know?

My sister.....have you seen her?

[yup. totally not normal kid looking for his sister. not scary at all.]

*Something tells him he should say 'no' even if he HAS seen her, but.*

Uh, what does she look like?

[that actually would be a bad idea. but Smile raises his hand to indicate someone about half his size.]

[that's not much of a description but that's all he'll give you.]

*Cr...creepy! This guy is super creepy!*

[that's not a question by the way. be very very careful here Hiroshi. it's kind of obvious that there's something wrong with this kid but you don't want to meet someone worse than the Oni, do you?]

*He really hasn't, thankfully. Although he's suddenly unsure of his ability to lie about it even if he HAD.*

[Smile tips his head at an angle that would bother a normal person. his grin has twitch a little bit but mostly stays firmly in place.]

Good. Not good. I have to find her. Could you keep an eye out?

[although if you see her and don't tell him, Smile will actually take your eye out.]

*Oh holy hell what is he AGREEING to?!*

With Zacharie, at least, the feeling had been mostly annoyance after the shock settled in. Here, all he can feel is fear, and he suddenly can't speak.*

*His voice is strangled, slightly hysterical. The images of that night, in all their variants, are coming to mind rapidly. Takuro blue, Takuro headless, Takuro alive... one trips, one falls, one gets left behind instead of saved...

Ahahha. It's a bad dream and a bad reality. Are they going to die in your dreams too?

[this is actually kind of amusing to Smile.]

*He hunches over, the hands still over his ears. All he can see is himself -- leaving people behind. Always leaving them behind. Always letting them die. The monster's fault... no, the monster just did what it would do. Hiroshi's...
