G'day, Ruby City! It's time for a meme for both testdrivers and denizens.

Been itching to test out some CR but haven't had the posts to do it? Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?

[Well, there was one animal that wasn't afraid of him. Well, there was something a bit off-putting about him, but she could just chalk that up to being told she was stuck in a new place. Not even Discord's powers could get them out of here.

She sighed as she made her way around the city. The farm pony was going to need to find a place to stay for the night while she figured out where her friends might be, if they were even in the city.

Noticing someone in front of the cathedral, she decided to ask if he knew where she might be able to stay.]

Pardon me, but do ya know where I might be able ta find a place to spend tha night?

[Honestly? Let's face it. Surrounded by shadow games and hosting a murderous alter ego, Ryou has a hard time being surprised by much of anything anymore.

Still. A bright orange pony with a distinctly Southern drawl would just about get his attention. At first, he assumes it's a person and turns to inform them of his own situation.]

[She'd have to forgive him, talking horses weren't an everyday thing in Domino City.]

[She pawed at the ground with her right front hoof. This place made her nervous. She didn't like the idea of Granny Smith, Big Macintosh, and Apple Bloom running the farm without her.]

As I was saying...I don't quite know how I've gotten here myself. I came to this building hoping I'd be able to find someone, or just use it for shelter. A church seems a rather safe place.

[After the initial shock, he doesn't mind taking Applejack at face value. What else can he be expected to do in such a situation? They're both lost...and while the situation makes him uncomfortable, he has to keep calm, right?]

[Keeping calm was always a good idea. She remembered when Twilight freaked out about not sending a letter to Princess Celestia and caused a riot in town. She was doing her best to stay calm, but it showed in the way her ears flicked from time to time and a bit of a nervous shift of her weight on her hooves.]

Nice meetin' ya, Bakura. [It must be odd, hearing his name spoken with such an accent. She tries to put on a friendly smile as she looks around.]

Have ya seen any other ponies around? I'm missin' some friends.

[Hey, it could be worse! He's well-traveled, his father being an archaeologist and all. So he's heard quite a few spins on his own surname. This isn't so bad. He's downright impressed at your ability to use words, nevermind how you say them.

And...well, despite the fact that usually he tends to have a problem around animals, he is good at reading them. Perhaps it's because he knows when they don't like his presence that he has this particular skill.]

I'm afraid I haven't seen any other ponies, no. But if you'd like to accompany me, we can have a better look around. Who knows, maybe we'll run into someone familiar.

[He rather doubted it. But then, he isn't always known for his positivity so much as his realism and doling out the cold hard facts.]

That sounds like a great idea. Need ta keep an eye on the clouds too. One of my friends likes ta take naps up there.

[She lifts a hoof and adjusts her hat a bit as she looks around the city. She really has no clue if any of her friends are here. She also wondered if there was a library.]

Who knows, we might find some of yer friends too! [Cause Friendship is Magic! Friends help out with everything and you never know who you would run into in this place.]

[Oh, Anzu would think you were an absolute treat. Friendship is magic and all that. Not, of course, that Bakura didn't have a strong feeling towards such things, but eh. It just made the other part of him scoff. The part of him that wasn't really...you know. Him.]

You have a friend that...sleeps in the clouds. Ah, well...there aren't any low-hanging ones, so I doubt we'd get a good sight of them.

[He peers up anyway, his large brown eyes blinking curiously. His interest is brief, however, and then he turns back to Applejack.]

Mm, but anyway. [Smiles some more. He does like smiling.] If we find some of my friends, it would be nice. I wouldn't wish any unfortunate circumstance upon them though. And this is...well...rather unfortunate.

Rainbow Dash'll sleep anywhere she can. That filly sleeps more than she works.
