RC Test Drive!



I don't really have a fitting picture for this.

G'day, Ruby City! It's time for a meme for both testdrivers and denizens.

Been itching to test out some CR but haven't had the posts to do it? Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?

Have no fear, a meme for you is here.


Directions:

  • Post with your character with their name and canon on top!

  • Choose a location and prompt or wait for someone else to tag.

  • If you'd like, leave contact info for people to get in contact for plotting and other such shenans.

  • Tag around! Make friends. Don't be afraid to chat OOC while tagging.



Locations:

  1. Train Station: New arrival, or waiting to welcome people? Either way, the train comes in, but you still can't ride it out.

  2. Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?

  3. The Clocktower: You can see the whole city from here!

  4. The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.

  5. The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.

  6. The Coffee Joint: Run by Lukas, a lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.

  7. Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.


Scenarios

  1. Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.

  2. Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.

  3. Inclement weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?

  4. Wild card: Got something better in mind? Well screw these prompts, try it out yourself!

1. Cathedral

[Have you come to the cathedral to pray? Or maybe you were looking for some peace and quiet in general or to meet someone? Either way, you may find a young teenage girl about the chapel. She might be sneaking behind the pews or the pillars, trying to eavesdrop on any information. Or, she might be staring in awe at all the stained glass windows....]

Gosh, those pictures in the windows look really pretty!

....Really pleasing to the eyes. Especially to one of a Great Thief! [SPOILERS: She's not really gonna steal them but feel free to tell her off!]


2. Library

[Kay can be found in the library today, trying to 'steal' as much information as possible.

Meaning that she is busy going through various books, skimming through them, sighing and dumping the books on the floor when she finds out that they contain no useful information on the city.

And then suddenly....her eyes light up.] Wait a minute.....what's this?

[And she pulls what looks like a magazine titled "The Jammin' Ninja Volume 88: Princess Misola Gets Cursed" from the shelf.] Oh wow, I didn't know that the Jammin' Ninja was popular here!

[When did Maya show up? Shh. She was summoned by the possibility of media that isn't reference. She'd been lied to told by a certain student in the city that there were no comic books and had pretty much believed him-- after all, she wasn't going to actually go check.]

[Did she just hear the girl right? She's seen some zany capers in her time, but to simply take something such as the stained-glass windows from under the watchful eyes of the higher ups? This girl was either lacking fear.. or a brain. Might explain the former if the second was also true.

Good thing she had been in earshot. Tifa casually strides over the young woman, standing besides her with her arms crossed over her chest as she looked up to the windows with Kay.]

Any idea on how you're going to pull it off?
