Ruby City Holy Grail War

PLOTTING POST

This is the plotting post for the Ruby City Holy Grail War event! Please use this area to partner up in master-servant pairs, and generally get some ideas flowing for the event.


Please be aware: we have exactly one master-to-servant right now, so you should be able to team up. If you haven’t found a partner by Thursday, please contact us, and we will employ the random number generator to pair you up.


The GoogleDocs Spreadsheet has all of our participants, everyone’s stats, and will be updated. When you have found your master-servant team, please contact Fel and Meg so they can add the information into the spreadsheet! This post on Waver’s journal is being used to keep an eye on threads, and will serve as an additional point to contact the mods, ask questions, etc.

Both my babies are spoken-for Masters, but I'm still entirely up for plotting!

As for IB and ALICE, as stated in Alice's post way up above, they'll be generally staying out of the way as much as possible, only fighting when they absolutely need to. No plans as for specific fights, alliances, enemies, etc., so have at it!

LAMONT and WAVER, on the other hand, are going to be rather involved in trying to get people to stop fighting over the stupid cup. There are definitely allies/enemies built into that, but I don't believe we have any specific fights planned so far? Correct me if I'm wrong on that, Meg. Come plot with us!

Weeee have two planned. Both involve Sephiroth, one is definitely going to be killing off Davesprite.

I am interested in plotting with Lamont/Waver because Machi is a Master (with Berserker Labrys contracted) and I would be super interested in more CR with Lamont/redoing the CR thing with him.

Machi's going to go from "but WHY oh gods" to "I'm doing this" pretty quickly so maybe Lamont can try to dissuade him. Or maybe Machi can try to take him and Waver down with Labrys. Or both.

WILD FLAILING BECAUSE I'M STUPID AND DON'T REMEMBER IF WE ACTUALLY PLOTTED ANYTHING ON PLURK???

I know Lamont's going to try to get Machi away from Kirei after Labrys gets defeated. But other than that, I'm literally blanking.

ALSO in the post-DR event thread, would Machi tell Lamont what happened to Trucy? Because if he does know, that'll definitely play into how Lamont approaches Machi during the HGW event.

Although that's probably for the better, ha ha ha... ha THAT WACKY KOTOMINE FAMILY right??

There's a pretty decent chance Machi would say something, or at least allude to it. He's a little cagey about how he words things sometimes (see: his entire decision to use English instead of a language he can speak fluently.) I kind of assume he's mentioned it in some capacity.

If Lamont is interested in learning more about Manaka following the DR event, she'll be acting as an interloper here. I'd be willing have him find out something about the weird little zombie, though I don't have any particular ideas!

I would definitely be up for this! Not sure what he could learn either, but assuming Lamont finds out that Manaka is working under Kirei during the war, he may want to initiate a conversation between them to see if he can wheedle any information out of her. Perhaps that's a place to start for them?

Well, the first thing she'll do is correct him on the notion that she's working under Kirei ;P

Maybe, though! Manaka is probably going to be keeping her head down in that regard, mostly because it's harder for her to get away with shit if she can't pretend to be a sweet little girl, but I'm fine with someone finding her out. Alternately, she'll probably be making a bullshit philosophy post after the event re: wishes, if you want to get at her there.
