Ruby City Holy Grail War

PLOTTING POST

This is the plotting post for the Ruby City Holy Grail War event! Please use this area to partner up in master-servant pairs, and generally get some ideas flowing for the event.


Please be aware: we have exactly one master-to-servant right now, so you should be able to team up. If you haven’t found a partner by Thursday, please contact us, and we will employ the random number generator to pair you up.


The GoogleDocs Spreadsheet has all of our participants, everyone’s stats, and will be updated. When you have found your master-servant team, please contact Fel and Meg so they can add the information into the spreadsheet! This post on Waver’s journal is being used to keep an eye on threads, and will serve as an additional point to contact the mods, ask questions, etc.

NATURALLY.

Madoka is going to be super-into finding other people who are more interested in negotiating than fighting (and also trying to keep fights from breaking out in the first place), but she'll also be completely open to working with Integra, especially when it transpires that they both want to wreck the Grail's shit and stop anyone from using it. TBH I'm looking forward to seeing how they're going to work together, especially considering Madoka's Independent Action rank, omg.

Integra is the type of person who attempts to make negotiations with others, but isn't completely adverse to fighting when/if the time calls for it (we have to keep in mind she was willing to make an alliance with the Iscariots, of all people).

She'll be allied with Saber and Maya as far as I know, and will act p sympathetic towards the other Masters (should they be willing to comply). It is her duty as a knight to keep people alive, after all. The main point is that I really cannot see her using Madoka without some form of provocation. That said, she's likely going to want to go after Rip for reasons (SHE'S A VAMPIRE MADOKA, I HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND).

We'll also have to figure out Seras's role in all of this, because she's perpetually acting as Integra's bodyguard.

Jiyu I'm crying have you seen that Rip might actually be ending up as Saber's Servant /buries face in hands

BUT YEAH, MADOKA WILL UNDERSTAND ONCE SOMEONE FILLS HER IN ON HOW NOT OKAY RIP IS. she won't enjoy it by any means, but if it stops her from hurting others, she'll understand. (Madoka's going to be trying to talk Machi down from trying to use Labrys to kill Rip because WOW THAT IS NOT OKAY PLEASE AT LEAST DON'T USE LABRYS-SAN LIKE THAT AND GO IN WITHOUT BACKUP DAMMIT.) BUT YES, the tl;dr is that, Madoka doesn't like the idea of fighting against other people at all, but if she has to, she's definitely not adverse to the possibility, although she'll aim for incapacitating rather than killing unless there's really no other way.

and yyy we should definitely figure out what Seras is doing in this set-up too good.

OH MY GOSH, NO I HAVEN'T. Welp. If Saber can manage to keep a muzzle on Rip, then Integra would feel less inclined go after her. She does trust Saber's judgement on these things, but she'll won't feel easy about it.

SO YEAH, INTEGRA WILL HAVE TO EXPLAIN SABER (and Madoka by proxy) A THING ABOUT MILLENNIUM. /face in hands.
