Let's take this for a spin

G'day, Ruby City! It's time for a meme for both testdrivers and denizens.
Been itching to test out some CR but haven't had the posts to do it? Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?
Have no fear, a meme for you is here.
Directions:
- Post with your character with their name and canon on top!
- Choose a location and prompt or wait for someone else to tag.
- If you'd like, leave contact info for people to get in contact for plotting and other such shenans.
- Tag around! Make friends. Don't be afraid to chat OOC while tagging.
Locations:
- Train Station: New arrival, or waiting to welcome people? Either way, the train comes in, but you still can't ride it out.
- Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?
- The Clocktower: You can see the whole city from here!
- The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.
- The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.
- The Coffee Joint: Run by Lukas, a lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.
- Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.
Scenarios
- Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.
- Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.
- Inclement weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?
- Wild card: Got something better in mind? Well screw these prompts, try it out yourself!
Have fun, guys!

*Phoenix looks a little stunned by the whole scenario. It takes him a minute to process what he's heard.*
[So... this is the guy? The one who "takes over," so to speak? ...I have to admit, he looks like a defense attorney all right. He's got that invisible "kick-me" sign all over him.]
I... I see. Er, it's nice to meet you, I guess. For the first time for me, anyway.
[...I don't know why. Maybe it's the hair, but I just... can't resist the urge to...]
*He smiles a weird lopsided smile.*
What took you so long to show up? She's been waiting ages.
no subject
T-Trucy!? What are you--(Wait, did she just say Daddy too?) [Sure enough, there was Mr. Wright standing behind Trucy and...wearing his lawyer suit?]
M-Mr. Wright? You're--wait what's that suppose to mean? What are you both doing here!? [WHAT IS GOING ON!?]
no subject
Yeah, Polly! What took so long?
[ He looks so lost and confused... she's never wished that he'd show up here, now that she knows how dangerous it can really be, but now that he's here? She's definitely never leaving him alone. ]
Oh, right -- you're in Ruby City. We've been here for a while! You're the one who decided to take forever! Although, I think we might need to explain some things to you...
[ She's only playing, of course. She squeezes Apollo's arm, happily regarding her father again. ]
See, daddy? He's just like I told you he would be! Here he is in the flesh, the Majestic Apollo Justice!
[ Yep. Majestic. It's the hair, man. ]
no subject
So it seems. I guess I should explain about this place... and the nature of time and space in regards to how it picks its, ah, "victims." Let's just say, for a start, that I come from what is no doubt quite a long time ago from your perspective. Let's say... seven years, at least.
no subject
[But hold on, why would Trucy need to introduce Apollo to Mr. Wright? He should know who he was, right....? Apollo blinks, looking confused by what Mr. Wright said.]
Seven...wait, what? How does that work? I mean it has been seven years since you wore that suit, but you did say you were going to study for the bar exam again after my last trial so I thought maybe...[He passed the exam without telling anyone but...that seem kind of strange that he wouldn't have found out in some way.]
And just what are you two talking going about "taking so long"? I just saw you both at the office!
no subject
[ Sorry, Phoenix. ]
He didn't even know who I was when I first got here! But now he does, and now he knows you! You may have just seen us at the office, yeah, but... well, you're not in Los Angeles anymore. OH! Prosecutor Gavin is here, too! And Auntie Maya, and Machi! Oh, and... this lady named Franziska, but she's not important.
[ She beams, and then tilts her head. ]
Anyways, that's just kind of how it is now, Polly! Daddy is from seven years in the past, Mr. Gavin is... before your last trial, too. So you should probably be... a little careful about what you say to him regarding his brother.

Like I said, it gets a little complicated sometimes. It's okay if you don't get it all immediately. And apparently if you go back, which happens on occasion, it's like nothing happened. Time hasn't shifted, and you don't remember any of what happened here. So I'm told, anyway.
[More's the pity, considering what I know now.]

perceivessquints at Mr. Wright] I...guess he sort of does. (Maybe it's because he's not dressed like a bum anymore.)[He can certainly sense a different demeanor from Mr. Wright...almost like the Phoenix Wright he once saw in all those videos when he was studying law, the Wright he idolized. Under different circumstances, Apollo might be beaming at Mr. Wright right about now, but this isn't the time for that. He looks between the two of them after they try to explain things to him again. He's gotten used to hearing crazy things between the two of them at this point, but this one was really stretching things. And there are others here too? He frowns.]
(...I don't know where to even start taking in this crazy story. This sounds more like a messed up nightmare than reality.)
Something tells me I'm going to be stuck here for a while if you're telling me I don't have to get all of this right away. Do I even want to know how long the two of you have been here?
no subject
Oh, uh... daddy's been here since forever, and I've been here... three? Four months maybe? Weird, huh?
[ And then, she's hugging Apollo again. Because hi. She hasn't seen you in forever. ]
I've missed you so much! I've told everyone about you! I didn't think I'd ever see you again, Polly...
no subject
She seems pretty fond of you. You must be doing SOMETHING right, at least.
no subject
[At Mr. Wright's comment, Apollo just puts on a sheepish grin.]
Uh, I guess so? We just hung out a lot, really. (More like you were busy doing your own thing so I was stuck babysitting her.) [Apollo wasn't sure what Mr. Wright knew about his future, but for some reason...he couldn't bring himself to be as openly blunt as he usually was around Mr. Wright. Maybe it's because Mr. Wright didn't seem to be as cryptic nor as nerve wracking to deal with right now. Pretty surreal.]
So you...you're really from the past? [He heard it, but he still couldn't believe it.] What was your last case?
no subject
[ 'HUNG OUT A LOT' must be code for she completely saved you in court on at least two occasions. ] We hung out, investigated, went to court, looked at dead people... it was fun!
[ Yep. Fun times, man. Fun times. ]
no subject
Yeah, remind me to talk to you about that other bit later. In GREAT detail.
[I'm beginning to wonder what sort of definition of the word "fun" I'm teaching her in the future.] You don't say.
My last case? Ah, that was...
*He sighs. He wonders how much the kid knows about his legal history. Time to find out.*
...State vs. Iris.
1/2
[Oh god, and then there's Mr. Wright who's not even from their point.] I-It's not what you think, sir. They're magic panties she uses in her magic acts and they were involved in a murder case I was working on. Sort of.
[...] (That doesn't sound any better either. Why did she have to mention those stupid panties!?)
Yea, a whole lot of fun for you. [You see that disgruntled look on Apollo's face, Trucy? That is a face of someone who doesn't think dealing with crimes is fun and games.]
no subject
That case happened in February of 2019, right? The victim was Elise Deauxnim and the defendant was a woman name Iris. You managed to prove her innocent in the end though and found the culprit was actually Prosecutor Godot. I remember watching the videos and being surprised to see Mr. Edgeworth on the defense bench on the first day! I mean, I thought he was a prosecutor. [As he recalls the case, he felt himself getting a little excited. He felt like he was a student again, studying law, and watching court footage in awe when Mr. Wright managed to turn everything around again and again in nearly all of his trials. ]
(...I'm really talking to the Phoenix Wright, aren't I? Keep it cool, Justice. It's still just Mr. Wright, right?) So if that was the last case you handled, that means it was only a few months before you...uh, I mean that's tells me enough how far back you are.
(Let's bring up how you lost your badge. I'm off to a great start already.)
[Another train passes by, reminding Apollo of where they were again.] Maybe we can continue this elsewhere? I'd like to know more about Ruby City since it looks like I'm not going anywhere for a while...
no subject
[ Despite the horror Apollo must be feeling, Trucy looks rather proud of herself. She's practically glowing. ]
Even Mr. Gavin seemed impressed by the way you just kept pulling them out of your pockets!
[ She's quiet, listening to the conversation at hand... up until that last bit. ]
Ooh, ooh! We should all go to the cafe, we can at least sit down there!
no subject
Ah ha ha... Trucy, sweetie, maybe we should discuss... pff ha ha... this in a little more detail LATER.
*He listens to Apollo's summary with increasing disbelief.*
[He WATCHED the videos? What am I, some sort of celebrity? I can't help but feel a little embarrassed...]
*He DOES catch that little slip though.*
Oh no no, go on and finish what you were going to say there. Something about me losing my badge and leaving the profession in disgrace, I'm guessing?
no subject
[To make matters worse, Mr. Wright caught his little slip-up] Oh! Well I--....I guess you were told about that then. [This is going real smoothly] Maybe I should have asked how much you know about our time first.
no subject
[ She's quiet again as she listens to the two converse, glancing between them as they speak. It's obvious that she's pretty excited to have them both here, it's... definitely the happiest she's been in a long while.
The little slip up has her head tilting, and then she shakes her head, sliding away from Apollo's side to cling back onto her father's arm instead. She's cool with alternating, man. ]
Oh, daddy... I told you, we fixed that! You and Polly did most of the work, and Polly was amazing with the way he carried everything out.
no subject
Sure, sure. Just couldn't resist giving him a bit of a hard time about it for some reason. Still, I guess we'd better fill him in on some of the specifics of this place. It's... definitely not a normal place.
no subject
Ok, I guess Trucy answered that. [And then with a sigh.] So then, what else am I going to be dealing with in this city?
no subject
[ How... is there really any GOOD way to try and explain this? ]
Monsters, and vampires, and weirdos. And a lot of really powerful people, but most of them are generally really nice! There's this really brave lady, she's a knight -- her name is Sir Integra. She's friends with daddy!
[ GRIN. She lightly tugs on poor Phoenix's arm again. She's got plans for you and Integra, man. ]
