Been itching to test out some CR but haven't had the posts to do it? Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?

7. Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.

[He recognized the voice and for a moment he's glad of the concealing folds of the blanket shielding his face. Because the owner of that voice was dead and had been for going on two years now...and he's reasonably certain that the Lifestream doesn't look like a worn out train station. He managed after a moment to keep his surprise out of his voice when he lifted his head to respond to the greeting.]

I must admit I did not expect to see you either, Miss Gainsborough.

Yes, well, you can imagine my surprise to wake up alive here. It was a little bit of a shock. [She looked closely at his face before sighing.]

Of course, the last time I saw you, you looked a whole lot better, Mr President.

Quite a lot has happened since the last time we faced each other. Would you know why we do find ourselves here and capable of meeting once again?

Not entirely. There's something about this world. People get pulled from different points in time and we're all tossed together like rats in Hojo's lab.

But, I'm alive here, and so is Zack, so I can't say it's a bad thing.

That hardly sounds pleasant. This isn't Gaia then?

[There's a touch of skepticism there as the question is asked. Oh, he realizes that there are other worlds out there, but actually being kidnapped from his own world onto another one? That is a little hard to swallow easily. Never mind the fact that life, death and time seem to have little meaning or power when it comes to whatever might be responsible for this situation.]

No. And since I can assume that you know what a Cetra is, you have my word that this planet is not our own. It's as quiet to me as to you.

[It's been a horrible realization for her to deal with. Just because she could still grow her flowers perfectly didn't mean that she was content with the act that she no longer heard from the planet or the dearly departed.]

Waking up somewhere that you don't belong rarely is. How long have you been here?

[Depending on the length, she may or may not be able to answer his following questions about just what to expect from this place beyond what he'd already found out from her. He might be lacking in connections, money and health in this new world, but like hell if he's going to allow that to drag him down if he can help it.]

I've only been here for two months, but a lot has happened here since. There are multiple werewolves here, for instance. And there have been two instances where the city takes on traits from other worlds and events happen for short spurts.

If you want more than that, I think you'll have to talk to Zack or Tifa. They appear to have been here the longest.

[So this place had its own monsters to deal with. Somehow he wasn't really surprised by that. He noted her suggested and filed it away for now, he'd possibly track Fair down later to question, despite the fact he was yet another who by rights ought to have been dead as well. At least the young man should be more inclined to be helpful than he suspected Lockhart would be.]

How many others from our own world are here?

[Well, Rufus is good if he stays in the city and out of the park at night. Monsters don't seem to come around to the heavily populated parts of town.]

Sephiroth, Vincent, Tifa, Zack, Cloud, myself, Genesis Rhapsody, Reno, Elena and Tseng are here. I was told that Yuffie was here too, but she disappeared before I arrived myself. Vincent and Tseng are the most recent people from Gaia to reach the city.
