Let's take this for a spin

G'day, Ruby City! It's time for a meme for both testdrivers and denizens.
Been itching to test out some CR but haven't had the posts to do it? Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?
Have no fear, a meme for you is here.
Directions:
- Post with your character with their name and canon on top!
- Choose a location and prompt or wait for someone else to tag.
- If you'd like, leave contact info for people to get in contact for plotting and other such shenans.
- Tag around! Make friends. Don't be afraid to chat OOC while tagging.
Locations:
- Train Station: New arrival, or waiting to welcome people? Either way, the train comes in, but you still can't ride it out.
- Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?
- The Clocktower: You can see the whole city from here!
- The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.
- The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.
- The Coffee Joint: Run by Lukas, a lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.
- Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.
Scenarios
- Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.
- Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.
- Inclement weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?
- Wild card: Got something better in mind? Well screw these prompts, try it out yourself!
Have fun, guys!
caster (gilles de rais) | fate/zero | what am i doing we just don't know
[ It looks a little awkward, but there he is, as big as he is with his robe and all, sitting... comfortably(??) in a tiny chair, sipping a cup of tea. Oh look, he even has his pinky extended! What a gentleman he is.
There's an empty chair by his table, however! Wouldn't you mind joining him? He might even offer you a smile and ask for your company if you happen to pass by! Who could say no to this face. No one, clearly. ]
Wildcard/The lake:
[ This city sure is boring sometimes, so Gilles has gone for a long, long walk, finally stopping by the lake. You'll find him with his feet dug into the sand, crouching by the shore--- Is that tentacles? It's most likely tentacles.
It's... definitely tentacles. Yeah.
He seems to be enjoying himself however, trying to make smalltalk with Kraken. ]
THE LAKE Oh godddd
Its entirely possible that it is who he thinks it is - the city has done stranger. But even Gilgamesh is preferable to Caster. He tries to speed up - keeping distance from Caster while still passing him to ensure that it is him. He'll have to call Saber about this when he's back in the library.]

What's the hurry? [ Then, a little lower, almost mumbling to himself: ] Aaaah, perhaps you're scared of this young miss here!
[ Giving the tentacle one last gentle pat, he moves closer -- keeping up with whatever speed Waver's going in. He just ends up right there. ]
You shan't have to be afraid of this lady! In fact, she's very shy...
[ Tilting his head, he leans closer. Personal space? What personal space? ]
You look... familiar. Do I know you?
no subject
I suspect not. I'd recognize your face if we had met before.
no subject
[ He tilts his head slightly, blinking at the other, before turning back to the lake and-- ]
Aah yes! As I was saying, there is nothing to be afraid of, mister! This lady of the lake is no harm. You just need to treat her like a gentleman! You don't have to run away-- why would you run away, anyway? She's so beautiful, as well!
no subject
[Waver takes a beat - switching gears here is incredibly weird. Although the notion of calling a tentacle creature a lady of the lake, given Saber, is hilarious.]
I was less afraid, just a little alarmed. I wasn't aware anything lived there - or that there were people around who could hold legitimate conversation with aquatic creatures.

Young miss!
[ He puts down his teacup, eyes falling on the book beneath her arm. ]
Would it be too much if an old man like me requested for your company? You could tell me all about that book you got there!
no subject
[Still, when he calls to her, she greets his words with a sweet smile, apparently unbothered by his strange appearance. Playing nice never hurts, and she feels no fear even in the face of something as powerful of a Servant.]
Mm! I'd be happy to. [She glides over to his table, setting her plate down against its top and sliding into the seat across from him. The book is set aside, and she continues to smile as she cuts into her cake with her fork.] My name is Manaka Sajou. I haven't seen you around before.
no subject
[ Gilles claps his hands together. ]
You can call me Bluebeard, for now. I'm what I believe you call a newcomer to this city!
no subject
Anyone who might potentially make things more interesting warrants Kirei's attention.
So he seats himself smoothly in the empty chair. Why not? He doesn't mind the face. Kirei is just a friendly, nonjudgmental guy.]
Good afternoon.
no subject
Good afternoon!
[ He beams, as if the other man was an old friend he hadn't seen for ages. ]
Isn't the weather lovely?
no subject
You might say that. It has potential.
[Although he actually possesses no faculty for assessing or preferring various types of weather. It's all the same to him, but every day has its own potential.]
Kirei Kotomine. [He gestures to himself, briefly.] I assume you've recently arrived in the city.
no subject
A pleasure to meet you! You can call me Bluebeard. [ A slight bow of his head as he says this. ]
I'm very much new here, yes!
no subject
A pleasure, Bluebeard. [Kirei returns the bow, politely.]
Then welcome. It's an interesting place. We are, in many ways, freed from the constraints of society. It is its own world, with its own rules. Nothing we do here will be remembered. When we return to our worlds and times, it will be as if none of this ever happened. A period of time existing in isolation from the rest of our lives. There is a freedom in that.
Perhaps it's an experiment, to see what we do in such a setting. But we don't know why were were brought here.
