PLOTTING POST 2.0: ELECTRIC KILLING BOOGALOO

By popular demand and also to make things easier for everyone concerned, here is a second plotting post whereby all Holy Grail War participants can plot out how and when they want to kill each other! If you'd like to have your character kill or be killed during the event, please use this space to plot to your heart's content.

As a reminder, when the time comes to actually start a thread where a death will happen, please inform either Meg or myself so that we can keep everyone else up to date with events. Happy plotting!

PLOT THREAD FOR SEPHIROTH'S DEATH

Okay, so after our plurk plotting so far we have a brief outline which I'll copy here so we can all see it! We can add/refine stuff in this thread re: what everybody is doing. Suggestion: we should probably try and figure out if we want sub-threads for this to make it easier to manage, and who will be involved in each one!

OUTLINE SO FAR:
> This battle happens on Day 12.
> Aerith provides info, comes along for the ride
> Rip acts as bait/incentive to draw Sephiroth out by running her mouth. Only Saber and Rip are present at this time.
> FIGHT START. Rip starts the fight by using her Noble Phantasm.
> Rip vs Sephiroth, Seph gets riddled with musical bulletholes
> Madoka and Integra show up a little way into the fight.
> Rip gets silenced via blow to the throat or something similar soon after their arrival
> Integra moves into the fray; Madoka acts as support/defensive fire
> At some point Integra gets injured
> Madoka strikes the finishing blow
> POST-BATTLE THINGS.

Okay, I hate to barge in, but since I was gone all day (thanks, medication!), but my question is what happens with Machi?

He'll stick with Sephiroth for most of it, obviously, and I assume I'll end up RPing something like his Machi Tobaye Drama Liar Hour or whatever it is he wants to do while Sephiroth takes centre stage.

He may or may not turn into a coward somewhere around the end there, but I can't guarantee it because he's also kind of a shithead.

I guess the next question is what happens after Sephiroth goes down? Are we just playing that by ear?

hnnnng it would be a very Madoka thing to do to attempt to try ONE LAST TIME to get through to Machi while she was backing Integra up with defensive fire BUT THIS IDEA PAINS ME

AHEM but yes, re: what happens after Sephiroth goes down, I don't think we've discussed that yet! I'd find it pretty ideal if we could have a post-battle/cooldown thread on the log somewhere just to tie things up that way, so I guess we could also find out what people want to have go down there? (I'm so sorry co-modding this thing is giving me CHRONIC PLOTTING SYNDROME)

But yeah, a thread for post-Sephirothmurders sounds preferable.

I can't guarantee whether Machi will turn his keep his liar face on and try to face the music/force their hand after or whether he'll drop it and freak out, though.

I'll have to wait to see how things pan out in the log, but Integra will be legitimately pissed off at Machi, and make an attempt to knock some sense into him.

For Aerith's involvement, is this going to be a thread on it's own? Perhaps a Action/Network thread?

Ok so ideas for subthreads:
-Baiting (not sure how this is going to happen? Are Rip/Saber going to have spent a while tracking him down?)
-Fight: Rip vs Sephiroth. This includes the NP being used, riddling with musical bulletholes and runs up until Madoka/Integra show up?
-Rip's silencing & Integra/Madoka, ends with Integra getting a few stabs and knocked back via TK into a wall (we mentioned dislocated shoulder before?)
-Madoka's NP
-Post-Battle things

I like the idea of Aerith giving info happening in a post/thread beforehand, but I'll wait for the others to weigh in on this, too!

I also like the subthread ideas you've floated; I think the main concern I can see so far is that we need to know where Machi and Saber are during all this and also what Aerith is doing during the actual fight, since I think right now we're the least clear on what the people who aren't actively clashing with Sephiroth directly are doing. :|9

Aerith is going to be providing back up and when Integra is down, she's going to concentrate on healing her.

Good question: We should figure out exactly how the baiting is going to work. Then again... let Rip on the net work to taunt Machi and that might just do the trick? IDK.

....Otherwise, Rip can hunt/track them down given enough information I suppose?

Unfortunately, Machi is a lot cannier than that.

She got him the first time by a combination of hate being a new experience for him and her just suddenly BEING THERE surprising him.

On the network, it could still lure him out, but he'd be a lot smarter this time.

Fool him once, etc, I guess.
