[HGW EVENT] GRAVEYARD POST

HOLY GRAIL GRAVEYARD

HOLY GRAIL GRAVEYARD
The post for everyone who is now out of the event to hang back, snark, and generally bs as we hit the final stride.
You don't have to be dead to participate either, but it helps.

Was it worth it.
no subject
Yes and no.
Yes, it was worth being his master. Better that I take on the brunt of him than somebody who doesn't know him, who couldn't stand up to him, be stuck with him. He would have hurt or tortured or manipulated his Mater into doing his bidding. I couldn't let somebody else have that much blood on their hands.
That being said, no. Because I couldn't control him like I thought I could.

I'm sorry, too. [He gestures vaguely at her.] That you died. Shit sucks.

It was bound to happen sooner or later. I'm just...surprised by the method.
Did it hurt?
no subject
No.
[How can one fourteen-year-old fit so much sarcasm into one word?]
no subject
T-That's not what I meant. From where I was it looked like the blow was clean and should have caused death instantly.
[Its the only magic fourteen-year olds have. Its a pity most lose it later on in life]
no subject
Battle Continuation Rank B, lady. It took a good fuckin' five minutes or something.
no subject
Oh. Shit. I'm sorry. I didn't know...
no subject
Whatever.
[And then, as blandly as possible, because this is a terrible joke and he should feel terrible:]
Enough time to get some things off my chest.
no subject
That was just awful, and yet oddly true. Being dead isn't as bad as I thought it would be...
[Her hand lifts to scratch at the back of her head.]
I am sorry. I never meant for it to get this far.
