[Congrats. You have the pleasure of seeing an immense tiger in Chinese-styled clothing try to squeeze himself out of a train cart. Once freed up, he shakes off and sniffs the air, before standing on his hind legs.]

[Isemi is very lost. He's supposed to be in the hospital. Where are the researchers, and more importantly, where is Perseus? He gazes up at the strange person standing over him and nods. That's virtually all he can do, other than speak.]

Yes, I'm lost.

[He smiles, in spite of the pain.]

Do you know where I am, sir?

[Dougen pads over on all fours to investigate. Even in his diminished state, he dwarfs the boy in size. He sniffs him several times, before nudging him with a paw.]

Are you alright, boy? You look in pretty poor shape.

[Mordred stares down at the strange child...and then gently pokes at the boy with her foot.]

What are you doing trying to sleep here? Get up.

[Mordred... He doesn't have legs. Isemi looks up at her, unsure of who she is, but not about to be rude to anyone. He manages a smile.]

I'm sorry, I can't. Do you know where the hospital is?

[Isemi starts at the sight of a tiger, of all things, looming over him. What's happening? Is this some kind of dream or delusion? When the tiger speaks to him and sounds friendly, he calms, but he's still uncertain...

He's never talked to a tiger before, but he doesn't want to be rude.]

Oh! Hello. I'm--all right. [He isn't, but he never complains.] But I should be in the hospital. I'm not supposed to be outside.

[For a second, she entertains the thought of rolling him there while he's still lying on the ground.]

Yes, usually the researchers look after me, but I'm not sure where they went or why I'm here...

They've never done anything like this before.

I'm also confused by these events. This looks like a human designed place, but not like the one I was just at.

[ stooping down to his level-- or as much as he can get without sprawling on the ground. he's dressed in a rather trim suit and jacket, top hat perched neatly atop his head. like a nobleman, really, complete with a cane. his props his chin on a gloved hand and looks down at him, expression more interested than pitying. ]

What's the matter with you? Don't want to get out of bed?

[He's a magus himself, but he's also had some bad experiences with magic, and he looks worried.]

It looks like a city. Where were you before?

Train Station:

[When Hakumen arrived at his destination, confusion was apparent. He recalled taking transportation out of Kagutsuchi to make sure he didn't fall behind in his mission, but this was not it. As if someone controlled his very will. A disturbing thought, one no one could read thanks to that mask of his.

He steps off, surveying his surroundings. Not Ikaruga or even one of the surrounding areas. Wherever he was, it was beyond his knowledge. Maybe this was near his destination, and he had just not seen it before? No, even that didn't seem right.

He growled under that mask.]

Whatever the case, I'll need to refind my path.

[But the moment he turned around to get back on the train, a single step forward ended up forcing him back, another grunt forming. Again, he was infuriated.]

A barrier? No matter. I'll simply find an alternative.

[Starting a fight didn't seem wise, and this magic seemed beyond his current capabilities.]

The Clocktower:

[One can easily find him at the top, looking over the surroundings. There was something familiar about this city, something that screamed inside of him, like whenever he felt the presence of Ragna the Bloodedge around him, or even Terumi for that matter. Danger. It was clear, and he needed to find it immediately.

Disturb at your own caution.]

The Library:

[When he wasn't hunting for trouble, one could find him reading inside of the library, a large stack of books near him. Research was important, and maybe if he knew more about this city, he could find a way out of this insulting prison. Still, better than the last two.]

Oh, I'm sorry.

[He has no real reason to be apologizing, but he does anyway. He doesn't want anyone else to be in a bad situation.]

I hope it isn't too much trouble for you.

I can't walk.

[He'd like to get up, but that isn't an option. He doesn't have legs.]

And how would that be any trouble to me?

[ he's interested, that's for sure. for such a small, young thing to be unable to walk? what kind of suffering must he go through on a daily basis?

it's a curious thing, human emotion, but one of the more exciting aspects of his humanity he's bothered keeping alive. he feels it now, the inherent need to want to know anything and everything, the desire to know the reason why this boy is the way he is.

he plucks at the sheet, like he means to lift it up. ]

[He glances down at the sheet worriedly when it's plucked at. The Beast he's fused with is bizarre, to say the least, and he's not used to anyone but the researchers looking at it. Even Perseus hasn't ever asked to.]

[ he sees the way the boy's looking down and stops, taking in his reactions carefully. he doesn't fear an attack, not from someone this... well, immobile.

[To awake from such a nostalgic dream was peculiar enough, but to find oneself on entirely the wrong mode of transport was more than troubling. He was certain that he'd drifted off while still on the plane, and yet, this was a train, wasn't it? The rhythmic beat against the tracks certainly suggested so. There wasn't even supposed to be a train on their itinerary.

The train pulls into the station and Alucard steps off. Fortunately his clothing is more suited to the general public than usual as he'd dressed with travel in mind, after all. Unfortunately, his luggage still consists of one large, jet-black coffin. It has already been unloaded for him. He sits down on it and turns the unfamiliar watch over in his hands, pondering what to do next.]

[Yeah, but that's what's been weirding me out.]

I think it's pretty easy to deduce that whoever brought us here must have ulterior motives, then.

[So long as they don't involve taking away my hair gel, though, I could get used to this.]
