[She's just passing by the station. No actual reason for it, just passing. She's not expecting a familiar face since there's a Doctor in the city and she's sure he mentioned something about not crossing his own timeline before.

Oh but she sees him and quietly walks up behind him, peeking over his shoulder.]

Kinda spoils the fun if you don't find yourself someplace new every once in awhile, right?

[She'd been sitting at a table far removed from the central area of the library's plethora of texts. Yet, she had kept a close eye on the rouge-haired woman, curious as to what she may have found in her own pursuit of knowledge. The city wasn't the most forthcoming with information, and if she were to have no luck, she could only assume the other woman would come up short as well.

Hips sway back and forth as she rises and approaches the young looking woman, heels echoing as the click against the tiled floor.]

I see I'm not alone in becoming aggravated with the uselessness of these books.

[Bro takes up post frequently at the train station, and, as such, he catches sight of Jack when he steps off the train.

The face is familiar to the pop-culture connoisseur, but not so familiar that he places it immediately - so Jack isn't greeted by name, but rather by:]

You look 'bout as lost as anyone who comes popping off that train.

[Arms folded across his chest, the lanky man nods at the tracks from his position against one of the walls covered in posters.]

Don't overthink it and make yourself comfortable. You ain't goin' anywhere for awhile.

[Kanji was pretty socially awkward. Anyone back in Inaba could have told you that. Well, if they weren't trembling in fear at his size and supposed anger issues. But, what no one but his closest friends knew was that Kanji Tatsumi loved cute things.

So, when he'd found the cafe, he'd realized that the atmosphere and everything else about it was perfect for him. He got to sit in a calm place where he could knit his plush dolls to his heart's content and no one bothered him.

Yep, he's been there, and the table is littered with his craftwork and various bits and bobs. He's pretty absorbed as he works, talking to himself from time to time.]

Wish I had some lace. Would make that dress really cute, yanno. Or some ribbons. Yeah, some blue and pink ribbons would really go well with that fabric pattern.

Uh, I think I'm gonna have to pass on the 'dick in a box' present.
At least for now.

And as we all know, spare keys are quite hard to come by. You can't just check under the rock by the entrance, after all.

[It doesn't work, the not causing mischief bit. And even if you lock people inside, they always manage to find a way to wander off. Always with the wandering off.]

What's he like, this Doctor? Just out of curiosity.

[He doesn't really know her. Not really. So, one of the later ones, then. Assuming he has later ones. But, well, it's always a good idea to keep up to date with yourself.]

[Unbeknownst to him, Yosuke was sitting with the back against the place Kanji was sitting. He was just busy taking a sip of the tea - because that was really good tea - he heard a very familiar voice. A very familiar voice that was talking about what seemed to be about sewing. It almost made him spit out his tea.

He managed to gulp down his tea, luckily and then turned around to see his suspicions confirmed.]

Kanji!

[He stands quickly. No point in making a lady wait, right? Shaking her hand graciously before putting his hands in his pockets, a smile on his face.]

Just...The Doctor. I'm a doctor of all sorts of things, I suppose you could say.

[When asked about where he's from, he contorts his face in thought before his brows raise again, and he shakes his head, looking anywhere but at her.]

Oh...everywhere. I travel...a lot.

[He turns quickly at that voice, his eyes widened as he stood there. For a moment, it's as if he's seen a ghost. He remembered seeing her go through that wall. He remembers sending her off with his alternate self. He remembers. He remembers. He remembers, but memories are a funny thing, and so is time. Holding up his hand, he pushes on her shoulder lightly, not even thinking to pull out his screwdriver. For all he knew, she could be something else in disguise.]

Rose?

I see.. We're quite alike then, aren't we?

[Eyes close as she silently smiles, letting a few moments pass before she turns and looks out in the buildings beyond them.]

Well, Doctor, I regret to be the one to inform you of your new home. Not much traveling to be done here, but it isn't the sort of place that will leave you out in the wild.

[Her smile seems to be hiding something, whether it be intentions or knowledge is of anyone's guess.]

You don't have the eyes of a thief, nor the manners of a pirate. Medicine isn't your primary focus, but you're quite knowledgeable of just how blood may be spilled.. Quite an interesting individual, aren't you?

[The younger teen looked up from his work at the sound of the familiar voice.]

Yosuke-senpai! What're you doin' HERE?!

[Um, his brain forgot to tell his hands to stop moving, and he might have the sewing needle now embedded pretty well in his thumb.

Good job there, bro. Good job.]

[Jack shoots the stranger an annoyed look.] "Sure." [With the tone that he doesn't believe that for a second. Maybe you aren't going anywhere for a while, but you're not him.]

"Captain Jack Harkness." [Jack's eyes sweep over the posters and signs, but not for long enough to really catch any of the information for the new people.] "So where and when are we?"

[He stares at her for quite a long time. She seems to know him better than some people did. Raising his shoulders uncomfortably, he keeps a weary eye on her back.]

And how do you know all that, then, eh?

I've never met you in my life, and you seem to know a lot about my primary focus...

[Looks like they arrived at the same time, Jack. He stands from the bench he had been sitting at, striding over quickly with his arms out.]

Captain Harkness back from the dead again! [He then stops, hesitating as he pulls his hands back quickly.] Oh wait...right sorry. Were you supposed to know that? Did I miss anything? Ohhhh...[He inhales sharply, afraid that he may have given something away that he wasn't supposed to. Time is tricky, and he remembers seeing Jack from across a bar as his final farewell. Come to think of it, he was supposed to be regenerating right about now, but then again, it wasn't his first close call.]

[Disciple is new to the place herself and has been busy exploring, knowing the importance of learning what the terrain is like should she be called on to defend herself. But so far it's proved to be less than dangerous - or so it seems - and while the strange aliens who seem to be the main inhabitants do look at her strangely sometimes, no one has offered her violence yet.

Someone does catch her eye, however. Someone who is pretending to sneak about, even if she's making it very obvious, someone with a cute looking blue tail that makes Di grin to see. But when she catches sight of those horns, those familiar horns, she stops in surprise, staring. What on Alternia...]

[There is a face, the face of a young man, with a rather prominent chin, staring at you, Doctor, in a mixture of wonder and ... something else? Recognition? Definitely. But there seems to be more to it.

He flaps his mouth, just barely, before he manages to produce a sound.]

... is it that time again?

*Parasoul glances up from her book, glare fading into a look of mere annoyance. She sighs, nodding.*

Quite. What kind of library doesn't contain a word of information about the place in which it's located? It's ridiculous.

[A voice that Jack wasn't expecting, and yet, the instant he hears it, he feels like he should have seen this coming. He turns to face the Doctor, and stares him down for a second.]

"Doctor. Space-time fuckery, should've known you were involved with this." [A very tense, annoyed look, in fact, Jack's whole body is held tense, like he can't decide whether to hug or punch the Doctor, and has to hold himself back from both actions.]

"No, no, I'm time-forward of that point, it's fine. Way time-forward of that. But what's the last thing you remember?" [They do have to do the Paradox Check. Answer carefully, Doc. What you say may determine which reaction you get out of Jack.]

I could ask you the same thing!

[Wait, that was probably not really the point here. He stands up and... wow, that looked painful. Like really painful.]

Whoa, how did you manage to do that?

[The Doctor is on one of his usual rounds, taking a good look at the city he has gotten used to, in case someone might need help or something interesting happens. Passing by the station, he sees a figure, standing there, seemingly waiting for something or someone? He can't quite tell. But the closer he gets he notices things about that distant figure, that coat, that- No, it can't be.

He keeps on walking towards the man, not able to keep his face from twitching into a grin.]

Hello.

[He stands, looking over the man before coming closer. He squints, raises his brows, squints again, then raises his hand to point his finger. That time again?]

Excuse me?

[Disciple is not a happy troll right now. There aren't many things that can make her angry, but being forcibly separated from her friends is certainly close to the top of that list. While her demeanor isn't as outright scary as she's fully capable of making it, there's still something in her face meant to warn people off if they mean to cause trouble. She's a troll on a mission, and that mission is to try and find a train to take her right back out of here.]

Yeah and it's always the spare that you lose first.

[It's a job requirement of companions, wandering off and finding trouble. We just don't tell our Time Lords.]

He's diff'rent, I can tell you that, and brilliant. Always on the go, really hates being stuck in one place. Surprised this city hasn't driven him insane.

[Plenty of later ones but she doesn't realize this is one of him.]

[He ruffles his hair. Always both a pleasure and not to tell yourself this. Letting him draw his own conclusions is even more fun.]

You know, that suit really is a bit too tight, now that I look at it from this perspective.
