March Test Drive

Thinking of apping a character but not sure they'll fit in the city walls?
Have no fear, a meme for you is here.
Directions:
Locations:
1. Train Station: New arrival, or waiting to welcome people? Either way, the train comes in, but you still can't ride it out.
2. Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?
3. The Clocktower: You can see the whole city from here!
4. The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.
5. The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.
6. The Coffee Joint: A lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.
7. Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.
Scenarios
1. Just walked in: You intended to get here, and you made your way in; but now someone's caught your eye and you'd like to have a chat.
2. Been here all day: You've been sitting around minding the time. Maybe you didn't notice them at first or maybe you were just working up the courage to talk-- either way, they know you're here and you know it too.
3. Bad weather: You're here because you've gotten rained in. This wasn't your choice, but at least it's dry-- right?
4. Wild card: Got something better in mind? Well screw these prompts, try it out yourself!
Have fun, guys!
2-1
He cants his head to the side. He knows the aura but he can't place it. The visions said nothing about her but that nagging feeling that he knows her from somewhere is very much there. He steps forward, his footfalls echo through through the vaulted ceiling.]
I am under the impression that I should know you though the placement has be vexed.
[The visions that he's seen are foggy at best like grainy images on a television screen and faded.]
no subject
[She just smirks faintly at his statement and gives a little shrug as she spins to face him completely, her hands on her hips.]
Well, you've been alive forever, right? Doesn't everybody look familiar by then?
[No comment about his apparent willingness to wander. At least, not yet.]
no subject
Hm.
[He couldn't tell if it was Lightning or Serah he was talking to but quickly dismissed it. Without knowing what she is, it's better not to delve into it any more than he has.]
Memory blurs in time though it matters little here. You are in a realm where time and death matters not.
no subject
[Lumina just rolls her eyes as she strolls along the aisle up the center of the cathedral, her gaze everywhere except on him.]
I mean, I might believe you, if I wasn't absolutely sure that you remember every little detail of every little Yeul.
no subject
Who are you?
[Okay, she's really setting him off a little more.]
no subject
I'm Lumina. Just Lumina.
[Such an innocently sly smile.]
no subject
He steps toward the alter and lifts his hand. He can't summon the portals anymore to escape but he can still teleport out. Right now, isn't one of those times. He turns around and faces Lumina once again with his face set in a scowl.]
A name that denies the existence of darkness yet you present a contradiction.
no subject
And you would certainly be the expert on contradictions, wouldn't you.
[She tilts her head to the side though, as if she were studying him.]
Or maybe not wouldn't. Will you? Hmm.
You should know me already. Why don't you?
no subject
We have not met nor spoke from the period I had been pulled. You are from a future I had not faced. I have no memory of you only through visions.
[He steps around and toward the front of he pews before he turns to face Lumina.]
With your presence and Chaos through you, I would assume that my deeds had proven successful though I had not saved Yeul entirely.
[Caius knows what this means.]
I am already dead.
no subject
Mm. You have no idea what you managed to do, really. Nobody does. Or did.
[A little smirk then, and she takes a step and vanishes in a swirl of chaos and light, reappearing sitting on the altar at the end of the room.]
But really, dead? You're nothing so boring as that.
no subject
He turns around to face her and moves his hands to levitate.]
Perhaps it is best that none do. Death is part of the cycle that has been broken since my rebirth. A resurrection into a being transcended into Chaos though that is only the beginning.
Yeul...she has me bound, though I suspect you have this knowledge. Humanity has not yet been stripped from me at this point yet I know what I shall become. It cannot be stopped.
no subject
[But she twists back around when he stops speaking, hands on her hips again. She had been listening, it seems.]
Well. Maybe? I mean, just because it might happen doesn't mean you have to sound so accepting about it.
no subject
Regardless, it was a choice I made through action.
no subject
[She mostly just looks a bit skeptical.]
Especially the two of you?
no subject
No.
no subject
[Lumina strolls around the altar slowly, one arm stretched out so her fingers could brush along the edges.]
They always seem so sad.
no subject
He wants to tell her that she's wrong but deep down he knows better and says nothing even though his face is very telling.]
no subject
But hey, if you`re here, that means it can`t happen, right? I mean, i don`t even feel the chaos here! `cept for me, and kind of you...
So this is like a...vacation, right?
no subject
It has though the city is not without its perils.
no subject
[She grins as she takes a quick hop backwards, vanishing again and reappearing back on the altar once more.]
Life's more fun with conflict, right?
[She taps her finger against her chin as if she's thinking something over.]
no subject
Enough! Impetuous child, you possess little conviction to understand the dangers that Yeul has been through. She yearns for a life of stability and I have granted her this request.
Her desires of a normal life is only within reach. Do not wrest this from her grasp!
no subject
Hey, not everybody gets to have a normal life. Some of us just have to deal with it.
[She hops up to stand on the altar, clapping her hands together, and a swirl of chaos engulfs her. She vanishes, and in her place a single Niblet appears in her place.]
[As Lumina reappears sitting on a rafter, giggling softly, the mostly harmless chaos fuzzball creature bobbles threateningly towards Caius.]
no subject
[The sight of the bobbing fuzzy grey creature just irritates him further. While she vanishes, he's forced into a fight. He pulls the sword from his back and sweeps it downward with a heavy stomp to send the dark energy toward the creature.
One thing he's learned that even the most innocent of things can be the most dangerous. Yeul has proven this before even with her benevolent intentions.
The quick burst sends the creature back just as he teleports in front of it and cleaves it in two.
Once the Niblet is gone and disperses into black mist, he turns his head sharply toward Lumina. He can still sense her presence.]
It is her desire to live as she was denied before.
no subject
And you think this is the right place to be normal and happy? Is she still seeing the future? That'll kill her just as dead as a monster.
no subject
You know nothing!
[The truth of the matter is that Yeul still sees the future but she's wrought with pain with each vision. He can't stop the visions from happening but he can at least be there to ease her suffering.
He's not emotionally sound since he found another source to draw from in his power and the Darkness that surrounds the city has been their source since they both are so far away from Valhalla to draw from the Unseen Realm.]
