2. Cathedral: Looking for redemption? Just doing a little sight-seeing? Or just getting a little shelter?

3. The Clocktower: You can see the whole city from here!

4. The Black Stallion Saloon: You were told the burgers were great here-- but maybe you just came for the beer.

5. The Library: You came to do a little research, but it looks like all of the information's just out of your reach. Though, you can always find a way to pass the time here.

6. The Coffee Joint: A lovely place to have a chat and a bite to eat.

7. Le Cafe Anglais: A Parisian-British fusion that's as charming as it sounds and serves the best tea around.

[She looked confused--"not here anymore"? She...did she die? Coming from a world where everything had looked bright, Serah couldn't understand. Their journey was almost over. What could have gone wrong?

Perhaps he had been returned to his own time. That is what she desperately hoped. Her eyes seemed desperate, wanting to know everything that was going on in his head.]

What do you mean, 'not here anymore'?

[Irritated by his questioning, Serah looked impatiently at him.]

Noel Kriess, you came riding in on a meteor into my life saying you could help me find Lightning. You wouldn't lie to me; I wouldn't lie to you. We're going to create a future where you don't live at the end of the world. Where Lightning and I can be together again.

[Noel lowered his guard for a moment to think.]

Hm... well that sounds right. ... but you were...

[He shook his head, not knowing what to make of this.]

Dammit, I don't know what to think anymore. We already made it to the end, saved everyone.

[Noel started to pace as he tried to find the words to explain.]

But I guess the gods had different plans. Yo saw the future one too many times and then... well, that was it.

We saved the future, but it cost. After that...

[he stopped to think and scratched his head.]

Well after that I'm not sure what happened... after that I was getting off the train here.

[Then he looked directly at her.]

What's the last thing you remember?

[You can pinpoint the moment when Serah's heart breaks. Her face falls as he says "and then", looking down to the ground and crumbling internally, closing in on herself. She bites her lip, unable to focus on what Noel is saying as she fights back tears.

She was so close....she was going to live. She was going to see Light again, and Snow, and Hope, and Vanille, and Fang.....now? She was gone. All of it was gone.

She had saved the future, but she would never live to see the brightness she caused.

Lightning would be so disappointed in her.]

[Noel looked at the girl calling herself... no, Serah and couldn't stay upset at her. It wasn't her falt. He decided at that moment that he'd believe her. He walked slowly toward her and said in a comforting voice.]

*sigh* Hey, if you're here and I'm here... then maybe the other's are here too right?

[He puts a hand on her shoulder.]

Come on, crying's not gonna do anyone any good. Let's see if we can find out where we are. Maybe the journey's not over just yet. You wouldn't happen to have the little p... Mog with you just in case, would you?

[She looks up at him, pitifully, pulling herself together, and decides that he's right. She offers a weak smile, and straightens.]

No, he's not here. I haven't seen anyone else. [She looks around.]

Maybe Light's here. Or Hope.

Not sure.

[Takes a few steps and looks around the station.]

I haven't seen anyone besides you and a couple other people I didn't recognize. That doesn't mean they're not here though.

[He turns to her with a smile, somewhat excited to be on another journey with someone he knew.]

Well, back to square one. Maybe if we ask around, someone'll be able to tell us what's going on.
